I am an alum. Had I wrote this review shortly after leaving Madeira High School, I would have probably given a poor rating. Years later, looking back on the education and resources I was provided, I realize how incredibly lucky I was to learn and grow through this school system. This school system has to be one of the best in the city. I commend their dynamics of learning, counseling, college preparation, and much more.

Not much is expected of the children. the school just wants to have a fake image and talk highly about itself.the education is below average.

I never felt comfortable with the school. My child was never protected from bullies, especially if the parents were friends with school leaders.

MHS is rigorous and competitive in band, sports and academics. It seems the kids are really bright so it is hard to keep up, but that rigor prepares students for adulthood whether it be a trade school or college.

I don't know what all these other kids are talking about on here, but Madeira has some of the best teachers in the country. They helped me figure out where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do in life (my love for Spanish came from Madeira). The AP classes were difficult but not impossible, providing a good challenge for the students. And, it definitely helped prepare me for college.

I am about to graduate and I don't feel like I'm ready for college. They never challenged me because kids want the easy way out.the teachers don't really help when you need it. I needed extra help and never got it.

kids don't do any school work. they just chat on their phones all day. the school and teachers are too lazy to give them a real education.

They shouldn't let just any one take the best classess. it waters them down and makes it hard for all of us. I tried to get into some better classes but they were full so my whole schedule was too easy. Every year they never have good classess for me. High school is a waste of time. they don't really care.
