St. Ben’s is an absolute gem. We’ve been at the school for five years and love the academic rigor, inclusive and engaged community, and abundance of clubs and sports. The teachers and administration care my deeply for the students, and it shows.

We have been part of the St Ben’s school community for 2 years. Our son’s academic progress has been fantastic as evidenced by his iReady standardized test scores starting off at “approaching grade level” in the fall and maxing out “at great level” by mid year despite that being the goal for year end. The sense of community is fantastic. Someone is always willing to help and it is such a welcome and joyful environment. I highly recommend St Ben!

St. Ben's is a fantastic school. It has everything a family could hope for. Wonderful teachers, excellent administration, caring and support of the kids and all their needs both emotional and educational, a wide array of extracurricular activities that many other schools don't come close to matching and an amazing community filled with parents who are fully invested in the success of the school and the children.

St. Ben’s is a wonderful community and a fantastic school that dedicates thoughtful learning to every age. The school campus encompasses a full city block, so the kids can learn without ever leaving the space of the buildings. They have added dedicated outdoor play spaces, an enormous courtyard two preschool indoor play spaces (gross motor and makerspace), and two gyms. Many art, music and STEM classrooms are double classrooms that give kids room to spread out and enjoy learning. The middle school students get to choose three electives each year that broaden their curriculum and give them a chance to follow their passions. My 8th-grade student has been at the school since preschool and made lifelong friends. He loves the athletics, teachers, and community events and enjoyed the fun service projects he has done with his class. The school champions so many after-school options - everything from reading club, cross country, dance, basketball, science, chess, and quiz bowl teams.

We love St Ben’s! We have two sons enrolled, one in first grade and one in preschool. The teachers are so dedicated and really know our boys and their capabilities. We love that St Ben’s is an all-in solution for us: an engaging curriculum, after care coverage, fun clubs like chess and art, and sports. The parent community is so welcoming and inclusive. There is never a shortage of fun events or community building. We couldn’t be happier here - highly recommend!

We have two children attending St Ben’s – 7yo in 2nd grade and 5 yo in Pre-K. This is our 4th year attending and we have nothing but positive things to say. Top of the list is the community at St. Ben’s – we are not part of the Parish, but regardless we have found the community amazingly welcoming and the parental involvement is fantastic. Activities, events, etc. are supported whole heartedly. The school has also defined and implementing a strategy that includes top line technology – 1:1 devices, STEM labs, etc. The teachers and stiff genuinely care – curriculum is tailored based upon student skill level. If you are looking for a faith-based academic institution supported by a great community, then take a look at St. Ben’s.

My son has been here since PreK, and will likely attend high school here. He has thrived. Without them, I don't think we would have recognized that Alex had ADHD. It was their staff that helped us identify and test him, which led to a plan where he's been doing mostly A, and some B work for the last 3 years!

My children feel comfortable and safe at St. Bens. They are provided with an engaging and challenging curriculum beginning in preschool through the secondary school. St. Benedict offers opportunities for students who are motivated to challenge themselves with honor courses, NJHS/NHS leadership, and to participate in clubs/bands/athletics. We are pleased that are children are in a faith based school that values the individual.

St. Benedict is a great environment and community for students and parents. It truly is one of the most ethnically diverse schools in the city and the students are not only very tolerant of each other, but go above and beyond to look out for one another. I am so impressed by the character of the student body and by the dedication of the faculty and administration. The small class sizes cater to each and every student. The administration has made a commitment to offering AP courses and is continually looking to expand the program. Students are very involved at the school and often times are there from 7am-8pm.
