My kids went to this school for 5th and 2nd grade, I have had a horrible experience so have my kids, the staff is undereducated, the principal is just a big bully, they don't welcome parent involvement at all, and my kids got bullied the principal did not want to talk about it or address the issue properly they like to tuck problems under the carpet. When one of my kids got a chair thrown at her by another student in 2nd grade the principal tried to down play the incident and said that my daughter was confused the child was probably just stalking the chair and it fell on her. Ridiculous! The teacher that my 2nd grader had would often bring her emotional home life into the classroom and share her emotions and thoughts with the students and even had a few outbursts where she cried infront of the students. One time since the same teacher had her mother teaching there as well she called her mother to come and yell at her students because she couldn't get control of them. My daughter was once told she can't wear a jacket at recess because it is not cold. I pulled my kids out of the school at the end of that year, and I would not recommend this school to anyone, unless you want to subject your child to constant bullies and threats from students, and discrimination from students and staff members.

Wonderful staff! The office ladies and the principal are welcoming and caring, the teachers are amazing!

The issues are non stop. The principal is way out of line, unprofessional , even antagonistic. The staff follow suit. If you get on the principal's bad side, that's it. And the bullying is quite intense. It's sad really. When you want to have a good experience. And can't wait for your child to get out of Higgins.

Higgins Elementary is the BEST school. We just moved this year and it is wonderful. We love everything about this school.

This is a wonderful school! The theme is kindness and everyone is extremely kind. Love the staff, teachers and principal.

The teachers are not too bad. The principal and office staff are horrible! The do not contact parents for head injuries of our children, nor keep us informed regarding safety/security issues, the office staff is rude and disrespectful.

Horrible I had to move my kids to a different school beacuse they hated going to that school, the principle and some of the staff are so unprofessional, yelling at the kids, telling them to shut their mouths, and the list goes on. If you want your child to have a great school experiance dont send them to this school.

Its a public school. There is good and bad everywhere. Just mind your own, and believe your children "first" especially over any teacher here. I have personally witnessed teachers lying.
