I have 2 kids here. One in upper elementary and one in lower and we've been lucky enough to have had great teachers throughout. I've preferred some over others, but that would be anywhere! I also wanted to mention that the principal that is mentioned in some older reviews is no longer there. We had a new principal come in, in 2013/2014; also the office staff (that is mentioned below) has changed over as well :) The one improvement that I would really like to see is Technology-but that is across the entire district.

Lighthouse has been an excellent school for our family. The teachers we have had were exceptional. They go to great lengths To communicate with their families, and accommodate the Needs of various learners. They also put a lot of effort into Lessons to make learning fun for the kids. My children have loved Going to school, and have had an easy time getting along with The other children that attend there. We feel blessed that Our children have been a part of such a great community.

Lighthouse continues to be a great school, and we are excited for our children to be back this fall. Teachers have been excellent, and it has a small town friendly atmosphere that I was not expecting from such a big elementary. The new principal seems welcoming to parents and students.

We have two children that attend Lighthouse, and have always been happy with the teachers, principal, and staff. I would highly recommend this school.

Love the teachers!! I have had the most wonderful experience with my son's teachers. They are always to positive, carasmatic, and very involved with me. The only negative is with the officee staff. The women are very rude and always negative. Its the teachers that make the school good, but it could be GREAT if there was an attitude adjustment in the office. Overall, I am a happy parent.

Seems to me the only "bullying" that goes on in this school is by the office staff. I was informed by some parents that if you don't "get in good" with the office staff, they make things very difficult for you.
