My son started school here. He's now on 6th grade and we've been very happy since then. The complete staff is great from the principal, teachers, day care assistance, and even the janitor.

My daughter love this school. She studied 1st grade with Mrs Plakos. Mrs Plakos is a wonderful teacher. My daughter has been in a new school every yr since she turned 3. Mrs Plakos is by far the best teacher. She doesn't show any favorites. She is concerned about her students the most. She seems like someone who really loves what they are doing. After 2 private preschools and 1 public elementary school in KG, I can tell the difference.Cerritos elementary has no bullies and there is no discrimination on basis of your ethnicity unlike some other 10 rated schools in the area.We are lucky to get school of choice here.

I am a parent. This is a great school. However, MOST RUDEST Office staff except for principal and teachers. Principal is great. I am sad that these RUDE staff doesn't understand the fact they get paid thanks to our children and our tax money.

I love this school because their is no bullies. If bullies are found in this school they are quickly suspended. The teachers encourage me and if you need help withb your life they bring your soul up. I am a student who just graduated from sixth and started this school since kindergarten. i loved the teachers like my family. I was a child who hated school and study but they taught me how lucky i was and how i should appreciate what i have got until its all gone. i would approve this place is good for any kid any age

This school used to be exemplary in all aspects, and I used to be very proud of the fact that my child was attending this school. However, recently the office staff have gone really bad. I know the good old principal is still holding things together, but the staffs are ruining the school image. They are the rudest, the most unprofessional people I have ever seen. What a pompous stuckup they are. They must know their school is one of the most highly sought after, and they are taking advantage of their school status by treating parents like dirt. Sheriffs Station treat people with better manners and more politeness, and this is an elementary school for crying out loud ! Can you believe they are the sole reason I even considered moving my child to another school? They are that bad !!!

I love this school because of the wonderful educational staff and support that each student recieves. I also received my education at cerritos Elementary. I wanted my children to experience the same kind of great experience that I received growing up.

Cerritos Elementary School is a top 10% school in the state of California. It ranks number one in the elementary Academic Performance Index(API) for the ABC Unified School District. All of this relates to excellent teaching in the classroom, parents that value education, and children who are learning the decilpines involved in learning. The team working together makes this sucess happen.

My daughter came in the middle of Kindergarten as we out of district. But everyone was very welcoming and helped make it a great transition. The principal, staff, teachers, and students all produce a very warm, inviting and friendly environment. The parent participation is very high, in fact, to save several programs, we raised all the monies needed in 1 month. There are a lot of extracurricular activities after school. So far we are very happy and look forward to 1st grade.
