Our experience at Wittmann has been nothing short of amazing. From the tight-knit family community environment that is created, to the culture of striving for academic excellence, we feel that Wittmann has been the ideal school for our children to attend.

The teachers set expectations from students but they don't like to teach. Parents have to teach their kids at home and need to follow the teachers expectations. The funny part is! We have our kids to school so that they can learn something new instead teacher wants parents to teach the kids.I felt many times, teachers give more respects to white. It was really unpleasant to have my child at this school. I transferred my kid to Leal which is the best school in Cerritos. I heard from many parents that it was nightmare having their child at Wittman.

From the moment we stepped into the front office we felt welcome here. Our kids feel both challenged and cared for here. We feel strongly about the dedicated staff and administration, they pour their lives into other people's children as if they are their own. This year the class sizes have increased across the district but everybody in this community just committed to working harder. There are many parent volunteers here and a good amount of after school activities. They take great care to make everyone feel included and somehow create an environment that is cohesive despite the great amount of diversity in the student population. There are schools with better test scores, but the close knit community feeling here is as strong as any school we have ever come across.

My daughter has been at Wittmann for five years now and we absolutely love it!! They have a strong bond with parents and students and they do so much to help the students. Things like events, fundraisers, movie nights, informative assemblies, trunk-or-treat, winter wonderland, red ribbon week and tons more. I am so grateful to be a part of such wonderful team that constantly strives to do and be its best. Proud Parent of s Wittmann Warrior!!

Our child is always engaged in a variety of activities in a caring and challenging environment at Wittmann. This is not a homogeneous population of over-driven children, but a diverse population that learn to appreciate each other, and go beyond accepting their differences to understanding the beauty in differences, all the while maintaining a high level of academic integrity. Wittmann has been a dream come true for us, in unexpected ways.

If you are a parent that wants to send their kids to be babysat and not be involved with your child's education, Wittmann Elementary is not for you. The school is a well knit community of engaging parents, caring teachers and staff, and a principal that embodies the traits of education in the new times. The test scores and awards speak for themselves. I don't feel bad about giving money to the school because I see how many learning opportunities my child is given compared to children attending other schools. Bravo Wittmann!!

Wittmann Elementary is by far the best school ever!! My daughter has learned so much and developed very rapidly. They are so united and a great team. I had a car accident and emailed my daughter's teacher, a few minutes later the principal called me to make sure we were okay & asked if we needed anything. I had mom's text and call me to express their concern & also offer help. They are constantly looking for ways to improve their instruments, programs and incorporate different activities each year. I am blessed to be a "Warrior"

Wittman school is really nice school. My son is in kindergarten. He doesn't want to go in first grade because of his teacher. He is really enjoying his class. They have a lots of activity in this school. The principal is fantastic. The school is asking money for our kids progress and extra activity. So I am disagree with those parents. My son's kindergarten teacher is amazing. She is rewarding every kids. The whole school staff are helpful. . I am giving 5 star to this school.

my school is awesome! although i've seen many bad reviews, it seems as if the teachers are not helping the struggling ones because the struggling ones either do not want to be helped or they are too shy. the teachers teach very well and the kids must ask questions if they do are not able to comprehend. although many people say my school is all about the money, it is not! they do earn money, but they earn it for the school! wittmann had earned a lot of money from the last fundraiser and used it for the benefit of the kids. my school is not the best but i know that i wouldn't want to go to any other school than wittmann.

Wittmann Elementary is a wonderful school. The teachers are well prepared and their focus is to help each of their students reach a high level of academic achievement. The principal, Mr. Walker, is approachable, has wonderful leardership qualities and genuinely loves the kids which shows in his participation in fun activities along with the children. He truly takes pride in his school. This school shows the level of high achievers by the high API scores this school receives every year from students test scores. This comes from dedication and love for school instilled by parents, teachers and the principal at Wittmann Elementary. I am truly pleased and very happy that my daughter attends this wonderful school. I find that the PTA is also very involved in school activities, helping in every way they can. If I have anything to suggest it would be that children should be able to come along with their parents to Back to shcool night. I feel it would be beneficial for them to listen to the curriculum and what the teacher expects of them during the school year along with their parents. That way there is no miscommunication.

I agree about the principal being a do-nothing! Teachers and their union control this school. I asked a teacher to accommodate my child, and she told me, "I am the school's union rep. " Why did she bother telling me? Maybe to let me know that no one can make her do anything? She teaches Kinder and wouldn't even post a list of class helpers! Lazy, ineffective, burnt out teacher is what she is. She is just weird....cannot make eye contact....only calls on her 4 favorite students to do classroom chores.....out for months at a time starting in Sept. after a foot operation. Why does she schedule surgery right when school starts? Because she doesn't care if the kids have a sub! Actually, it was probably better that the kids DID have a sub! If you have a choice, stay away from this school. Scores are high because they have great kids coming from advantaged, educated homes! I called the Asst. Superintendant who didn't care a bit about this awful teacher either. If you have any worries or concerns, you will get no help from the district office.

Not happy with this school. Cerritos Ele. will take transfers so maybe it's time. I overheard a teacher welling at her class that they were stupid and she repeated it 3 or 4 times. Money seems to be more important than teaching. The principal is afraid to confront parents when necessary. One student got in a fight and the next day he got an award.

I have been uncomfortable with this school from the start. The teachers do not teach and expect the kids to learn by themselves. Parents have to teach their kids at home. The teachers do not seem to care about the kids or want to help struggling kids. Parent volunteers are taken for granted, made to feel unappeciated. The staff, principal, and teachers are unfriendly and make the school an uncomfortable environment for both the kids and parents. Looking to transfer out this year.

Wittmann is a good school but I just don't like that the PTA likes to sell cheap lemonade(which made with sugar, water and artificial color), cheap boba and always asking for money.
