Coyote Ridge Elementary School is a fantastic school! We have had three children attend Coyote Ridge, and all of them have had wonderful experiences. The teachers are dedicated, caring, and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to help their students succeed. The school has a strong academic reputation, and our children have all been well-prepared for middle school. But Coyote Ridge is more than just an academic powerhouse. It's also a community where students feel safe, supported, and respected. We love that Coyote Ridge emphasizes social-emotional learning as well as academic achievement. The school has a strong character education program, and teachers work hard to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. Our children have made lifelong friends at Coyote Ridge, and we have cherished our time as part of the school community. We would absolutely recommend Coyote Ridge to anyone looking for a great elementary school for their child. I am over the moon about my experience with Coyote Ridge Elementary and am excited for many years to come! The staff and students are engaged and always have a positive and friendly attitude. I appreciate the engagement of the principal and the connection that I have with the classroom teachers. The academics are top-notch and the school is setting high expectations for my children to be lifelong learners.

Our two kids have been enrolled in Coyote Ridge for two schools years and are starting our third year now. We have LOVED the teachers that our kids have been assigned and think that the school leadership is excellent as well. Our kids have grown tremendously both academically and socially since attending CRE. The school has a great social emotional program and teachers that seem to really care about the students. I highly recommend Coyote Ridge Elementary and feel VERY grateful that it is our neighborhood school!

If you are looking for a school that focuses on both academic achievement and the social and emotional needs of your child, you will find it at Coyote Ridge Elementary. You will also find that the school is true to its mission of having a welcoming atmosphere that supports and encourages family & community partnerships. I’m so thankful for this neighborhood school. My son started Kindergarten at CRE during the pandemic, and a few years later, he is continuing to thrive, which I attribute to CRE’s positive learning environment. It is truly a gem. You will also be joining a wonderful and supportive community of parents. Both my child and I have made wonderful friendships with other parents and children at this school.

We love the front staff ladies, they are so kind to our kiddo. She has been going here since first grade and is currently in 5th. They either have a staffing/hiring issue or a culture issue or perhaps both. My daughters teacher is leaving abruptly in the middle of this year, but this isn’t the first time this has happened to her. Twice before, this happened, another teacher left in the middle of the year in 2nd grade. Then, with COVID, she changed teachers in the middle of the year. Three times, teachers leaving in the middle of the year is incredibly disruptive and has affected my daughter to the point that she takes it personally. Can you imagine your child thinking something is wrong with her because of this. But wait, there’s more. After every school year since she has been going to Coyote Ridge, her teacher has left Coyote Ridge after that year. Imagine realizing that after every grade, your teacher is no longer at Coyote Ridge the following year. EVERY SINGLE TEACHER since 1st grade. How does this happen and why is it okay to completely disrupt a students year by having a new teacher mid-year. Personally, I would lightly recommend you consider another school, I’m sorry to say that because I had hoped Coyote Ridge would be an amazing experience for her. They will tell you everything you want to hear, but this was our reality, you make the decision for yourself!

I've had kids attend CRE for 5 years and currently have three kids enrolled. All of the teachers have been great at teaching my children and communicating with the parents. I always feel like I'm aware of what they are learning and have many opportunities to be involved. The PTO is also well organized. There is so much more parent support at this school than the one my children attended in CA. I have been very impressed with Principal Mike. He does a fantastic job leading the school. He is easy to talk to and all my kids love him.

We have had two childern go through this school with over 10 years of experience. We have nothing but positive things to say. The school is more akin to a prep school than a public schools following a prep school curriculum ( same exact work as ND prep).

We've been at the school for three school years and really have no complaints, especially once the new principal took over and got things going smoothly. Parking can be hard, but you find little tricks to get around that. We haven't run into any issues with teachers - they've all been fantastic. We love this school. The teachers have all found ways to push my kids into more accelerated curriculum within their grades so they aren't bored.

My son is in Kindergarten at Coyote Ridge and he really loves it. Initially he was having some concentration/focus issues and the school has gone above and beyond to help our son improve. He goes to special class weekly where he is working skills needs to succeed at school. They have a great curriculum that teaches kids to ask themselves if they are using their Wizard Brain or Lizard Brain. To sum it up, our experience has been great and we are seeing our son grow tremendously as young person and student. Thank you to all that make Coyote Ridge a special place for kids to go to school.

This is an average school overall. If your child has any issues at all with bullies or anything along that line, your child receives no help or support from the staff or administration. They put it back on the child, not dealing with the bullies. Worst decision I ever made sending my son here.

The teachers are wonderful . I have been less than impressed with the principal. She may walk around he school and know the kids names, but is extremely difficult to communicate your concerns to. I have only heard great things about Coyote Ridge. I agree it's a great school, however, the principle is mediocre and lacks the communication skills to make her qualified to be in her position.
