My son has been in Mrs. Thomas´classroom for 2 years. She has been his 1st teacher and having her for the 2nd year in a row has been very beneficial for him, since he has adapted to her. She has been so kind and patient with him. I´m really thankfull for all her hard work with all of her students. Mrs. Thomas is really a teacher from heart.

My child had a shadow day today and was so excited to possibly attend this school. But unfortunately it was the worst experience he has ever had as a 10 year old. He had to see first hand how it feels to be ignored, looked down on, discriminated against and feel racism for the first time. My husband was hesitant after being there the first 5 minutes, as open minded as he is he decided to let my son experience the new school. Sadly my husband should have went with his gut feeling. I will not recommend this school the language, unprofessionalism and consideration for a child’s feelings were the least concern of this schools actions. Everything they claim to provide, protect your children and do not send them to this school.

This is my sons first year at the school and I can't say enough about his experience! He has always struggled in the public school setting. The class sizes were to big for the type of structure and individualized help he needed. The Broach School has helped him in every are that he has been struggling with. The teachers and staff are always there to help! His grades and self esteem have improved dramatically! I would definitely recommend this school to everyone!

My daughter has struggled with learning, being picked on, and being insecure. She hated going to school, and usually made some attempt at trying to stay home. Since starting The Broach School this year, her grades have come up significantly and she actually takes pride in learning. She enjoys going to school. I have such a wonderful change in my child in such a short amount of time, and I am very excited to see her progress through the rest of the year. The staff are wonderful, and have created a positive, individual learning environment.

The Broach School has made a world of difference. The public school curriculum and methods were not appropriate for student. She had fallen behind several grade levels and had become disinterested in school. The Broach staff are very concerned and motivated to help students achieve. Student has become involved, interested, and motivated to achieve. Instead of being on the road to failure, she is now able to take necessary steps to educational opportunity and success. Her grades are continuing to improve and student is motivated to achieve. None of this would be possible without The Broach School and their commitment to quality education.

The teacher instruction at Broach is very individualized. My child has struggled in the past a great deal trying to fall into the uniform methods of teaching at other schools. At Broach, she is excelling and her confidence is soaring. I'm very pleased!

I have 2 children attending this school and the love it. Their grades have risen since enrolling and they are more motivated to go to school. The teachers are interactive and knowledgeable. I recommend this school highly.

My son has been at the Broach School for a couple years now. We like that he has individualized attention, small class room size, no bullying. My son struggled in public school system with all the focus being on the FCAT and having 2 hours of homework every night to prep for all the testing. I'm happy I found the Broach school and my son is happy he is doing well. My only issue is not being able to drop off my son before 8a.m. It is a challenge when you have to be at work at 8am. Thanks Broach school for all you have done to help my son!

This is my sons first year at this school. He absolutely loves it. Has had straight A's last quarter and this quarter. He loves going to school. He will be here until he graduates. Very happy with the whole school.

The school just moved to a larger building and they have a new administration. I hope people don't judge a school on what happened several years ago or what bitter students, who were probably removed for discipline reasons, would say. I have a friend whose son graduated from The Broach and is doing quite well in college. This is probably the only school in Manatee County that does not have bullying issues. They are head and shoulders above the extremely poor public school system in the county. Keep up the great work Broach!!

My son was lost in the public school system. Classes were too large and a majority of the day was spent disciplining the problem students. He has learned more since he started here in August then in the last two years in the public school. We have definitely found the s hool for him!

The two stars are for small classrooms and no homework for students! Unfortunately, the children are not learning what they need to in the classroom. The school has not kept up to what they promised when my child starting attending there. They told me that they bring in lunch from restaraunts weekly and go on several field trips. Pizza is ordered occasionally from local restaraunts and that is about it! The field trips were very poorly organized and non-stimullating and occur yearly. My child initially learned at this school, but due to staff change and disengagement has suffered in his academics...

My daughter attended two private schools before The Broach School and there is no comparison. The small class sizes, individualized teaching, and family atmoshpere make this the perfect school for my daughter and family!
