I can't say enough wonderful things about the teaching staff at this school. We couldn't imagine being anywhere else. BCS is amazing.

Not much good has come out of 2020 it seems but something happened today at BCS that made me want to share how truly happy I am as a parent at this school. I watched students lift up a new student and the family that was going through a really hard time. It got me thinking about my time at BCS with my family and the experiences that we have had here. I love the teachers and their heart for the kids and how they go above and beyond to make sure their students are prepared for college on an academic and spiritual level. It feels like I am with family when I go to sporting events or activities and I have enjoyed how much the parents look out for all the kids are willing to be a part of something bigger than their own family. There is definitely an "it takes a village" mindset to parenting here. The academics are rigorous and I will say it was an adjustment when I first put my kids into BCS but it has really paid off. My oldest graduated already and had more than a years worth of college credits because of his AP classes and he and will be graduating college early. I feel BCS did a good job of of helping my son learn to navigate the constant challenges of academics, sports, spiritual growth, and social development. Teachers and staff display the Christian character and values they are trying to instill in the students, so it has been more than just a "do as I say and not as I do" kind of thing.

BCS is an insular, elitist club. Students who fit the mold will do fine, though their education will be severely lacking (science classes prop up intellectually fragile anti-evolution arguments, and English classes are inhibited by severe prudishness and a fear of uncomfortable ideas). Students who do not fit the mold will be left with little doubt that they do not belong. Bullying may be subtler than at other schools, because many of the students (like their parents) have learned to keep up appearances and go through the motions of propriety. But it very much exists: Students who are different in any way (not conservative enough, not white enough, not rich enough, or--God forbid--not straight enough) will be ostracized and mocked in ways that are perhaps even more insidious because of their subtlety. And I do not imagine this changing anytime soon, given that the worst perpetrators are often part of the legacy families whose history and finances make them invaluable to the school.

Awful school, tun by judgemental people that look down on everyone that isn't rich or white enough. You can get a better education at any public school in Manatee County.

BCS is an amazing place to raise your child in a Christ like setting. The friendships that they will make will last forever and the teachers truly care about each student as an individual. Grading is not taken lightly and academically BCS will challenge your child while teaching them with a Christian perspective.

My experience has been a let down as I was excited to see the opportunities and attend a school with fellow Christians. My heart sank when I was repeatedly bullied for being myself, saw kids get laughed at for their way of worshiping, and how un welcoming the students are to new students.

We moved from another state (also a Christian School) and we loved BCS; they took our daughters learning to a higher level ( she graduated top honors from FSU) and developed her as a student athlete beyond her previous school, she loved her Bible class too and all her teachers/office staff. We would do it all over again.

April 2016Be careful and informed Parents! Enrolled my student 2 years ago after moving from another City 4 the Primary purpose of my Student graduating from BCS in 2016. All was smooth sailing till a new school family took over my students life in one day! Jeopardizing my vulnerable Student College and College Funding just months B 4 Graduation. Their BCS Student had just begun 2 date my student and for 2 months they partnered with me 4 the students 2 have a healthy relationship. When I discovered the takeover of my student I went 2 BCS Leadership 4 two meetings asking that the BCS Student/Parent Handbook terms be enforced that ALL are required 2 sign in agreement to B part of the BCS Community,BCS would not stand on the written terms of the BCS Student/Parent Handbook and allowed a BCS Family to Usurp my Parental Authority. Then I wrote 2 the school with concern, BCS staff then supplied my emails to the School 2 the parents I expressed high concerns about taking over my students life and Jeporadizing College Scholarship Funding/ Future. When I requested in writing 2 BCS that I and other parents wanted 2 mtg with the School Board was informed not allowed to. Then informed by BCS the school sharing with this renegade BCS Family of my concerned emails 2 BCS, was a HOME Issue?? Local and International Student Parents sending your students to BCS beware in a moment BCS will stand by other BCS Parents taking over the life of your student.

My family has grown there. BCS is family! We love that our children have received a Chrisr- centered education and has prepared them to serve in His Kingdom. We have seen great growth spiritually and academically at BCS. It is such an encouragement to know the Lord continues to bless this school so that the next generation and future generations to come will be preparing the hearts and minds of His Children to honor, serve and glorify Him.

This is our first year at BCS, and we love it. Our son is in 9th grade, and we wish we had enrolled him here years ago. The teachers and staff are incredible, very caring and knowledgeable. Students are respectful and welcoming. Extracurriculars are well run and there are many options from sports, to music, to technology, to drama, and more. I can't say enough about the quality of the education and the school here. Very happy!!

Bradenton Christian School is a school that serves the whole student. There is an outstanding Christian world view demonstrated everyday in every class and in every interaction. Plus an incredible, most excellent academic education wrapped with top rated athletics, music programs, drama, and arts. What else would you need in a school? As a parent from a deep history of Christian education, I see a special sparkle at Bradenton Christian that I have not seen anywhere else. I know BCS blesses so many families as we work together to educate and raise our children, and I know our children will be a blessing to so many as they grow up and go into the world. Thank you BCS!

We have 3 children in the school and love it. We were new last year and the BCS family quickly assimilated our students and made them feel loved and right at home. The music department is incredible and our children have been involved in Jazz band, pep band, concert band, drum line and choir. They also get to play sports. We love the fact that BCS has a long track record of getting students into top colleges and universities. Honors courses and AP courses are a big plus as well. Everything is taught from a Christian perspective and our children talk about how great the chapels and spiritual retreats are.

If you are a conservative Christian that has a family member that works at the school, then you will love it.

This school is well funded and a lot of fun. There are too many days wasted on fund raising in my opinion. Favoritism is condoned and promoted among some teachers. Repeated bad behavior is tolerated or ignored depending on who the parents are and how much they contribute. If you are any part of the well established legacy you wil love this school. The academics were also disappointing, I expected much more.

I love how BCS educates the whole child. They really encourage students to explore their spiritual gifts with many academic, athletic, art, drama, music and spiritual opportunities. For a small school, they offer a "big punch"! I have students in the middle school and elementary school. It's special to hear them speaking from a Christian perspective and singing songs from chapel. My children are happy and learning. What more could a parent ask?

As a new student in third grade, my son was asked how he felt about the school (BCS)....he replied, "I like it because I feel safe here." That's a huge thing as a parent to hear.

It is a small school that has big school offerings but what makes BCS truly unique is that this is all from a Christ-centered perspective. Art, athletics (grades 6-12), music, drama, college prep including honors and college level classes on campus as well as dual enrollment are available.Another reason we love the school is that it feels like family. When there's a need, the BCS family rises to the occasion with great fervor and an outpouring of support. The teachers care deeply about the students and feel their own success is in the growth and success of the students emotionally, academically and spiritually. As the mom of an alumni now, it's so cool to see that the friends they made at BCS are lifelong friends. We feel that it was an invaluable investment not only in their education and in this life but also in the everlasting life!

I love BCS!! My boys have been at this school since Kindergarten and is now and senior here and a sophomore at FSU!! What do I love about this school? Well besides the love the teachers show the students, I would say the fact that I am paying less than $500 a semester for my son to be in the Honors College at FSU!! It's a great education that is rooted in God's Word!! BCS prepares kids to go to large public colleges as well as small private Christian colleges.

Bradenton Christian School is a excellent school for our children. BCS has Preschool through 12th Grade all on one campus. What I see from students that graduate and that are currently attending BCS, is their well roundedness in academic achievement, music, sports, sociability, etc which is all grounded with a Christian environment. BCS has a great student to teacher ratio. The school gives great direction to students by teaching that Christ is a part of everything they learn, touch, see....a firm spiritual foundation. BCS gives parents an incredible opportunity for our children to be confident in who they are in Christ. BCS is definitely partnering with our family and our church in training our children to become strong, honest, and wise adults. Go Panthers!
