Academics have been good to excellent. My son has favorite teachers that he is seeking out to have again next year because they are engaging. Sport program is top notch!

The school is very competitive with a full offering of Honors and AP coursework. The college preparation is excellent as students have full coursework (5 hours in the classroom and 2 hours outside the classroom daily) in addition to 3 hours of sports training daily. Student-Athletes at IMG are well prepared for the rigors and demands of a collegiate environment. In addition, the school offers multiple extra-curricular programs from National Honor Society and Student Council to service and volunteer opportunities including Key Club, Student Ambassadors, etc. The environment is competitive academically and athletically and is best for committed and disciplined student-athletes.

My son is in his senior year at IMG in the baseball program. It has been stellar! The college preparatory program has given him a D-1 scholarship to play baseball at the University of South Carolina! go Gamecocks! Stellar school. stellar academics! Stellar Athletics! Enough said. coaches are professional and if your kid works hard- he will be successful. No Doubt! At IMG- NO dumb jocks. I encourage you to come and see for yourself! It is Baseball Nirvana! naysayers- go away- you didn't keep up with your kid!

My son just finished up his senior year at IMG and is off and running in College. This place truly is unique and amazing. While I can say this place is not for everyone I believe for the right kid this place will help the excel.

After many years of success the IMG golf Academy is at its lowest point ever. In 2014 eight golf coaches left the academy, voluntarily and involuntarily because of the lousy treatment by the academy. In September renowned Golf Program Director David Whelan was stabbed in the back by his coaches and fired by the academy. The 2013/2014 program had 150 kids in the program, whereby the 2014/2015 program only has 80. If you want a mediocre training environment go IMG, however if you wish to train with the best and succeed, please avoid IMG. The enormous intake of mediocre kids and the remaining burned out coaches make this place very undesirable. Its a political wasp nest where only the best politicians thrive, which however has nothing to do with golf! Its tournament series is highly geared to make the mediocre kids succeed, and kids from outside IMG are bullied. I have trouble understanding why once a great academy has fallen so low? Think more then twice when you wish to bring your hard earned money to IMG Academies!

My son is a soccer student-athlete at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He will be returning for a 2nd year and be in the 9th grade this year. IMG is the whole package at the top level for dedicated student-athletes. My son starts soccer training at 7:00 am and finishes school in the evening. The soccer training and facilities are the best we've experienced and academically we were very impressed as well. IMG give the student-athletes the exposure and tools they needs to grow and develop.

My daughter has attended her junior and senior year at IMG Academy as an international student. In my opinion, IMG is much more about the money than the students' development. There are some good teachers, but most of them are weak. Rather big teachers' staff fluctuatuion causes low education. For example, there was no teacher for science for more than a month. Both 2 years, we had problems with the student bank about the accounts and the deposit refund. Information given about accomodation, education and sports during the prelimenary campus tour was much better than what we got. Sportswise, the facilities are great, but most of the coaches are unmotivated helping students. Overall, IMG isn't worth as it costs. However, it has one big advantage: class schedule and sports schedule are put smoothly together.

This athletic program may be good for other sports but if he is in the lacrosse program be prepared to have your child humiliated, verbally abused, screamed at for no reason. A good coach can change his coaching style for different players. Not this one. Run. Don't attend here.

If your son or daughter is academically focused DO NOT attend this school. Their idea of strong academics is 3-4 hours of homework a night. I guess it keep the boarding kids busy but the kids who care about academics look worn, exhausted, and haggard. not the best environment of the student athlete.

Pendleton teachers are for the most part amazing and very caring. However, 4-5 hours of homework a night for a day where the student takes only 2-3 classes a day is not healthy for these kids. They look worn, exhausted, stressed. Consider IMG but take your child to another school of Florida Virtual School them. Do not place them at Pendleton!
