My granddaughter who was a straight A student the first 2 quarters, went to a student struggling because 3 of her teachers all went on leave or left. The substitute teachers she had for rest of year didn't grade work or lost work so that her grades dropped dramatically to the point I went to school and still couldn't get any answers. I think I'm going to remove her and send her somewhere else.

If this doesn't show my age. I went to this school when it first opened 2000-2001 it was the best school by far. I went all three years had the best teachers and one of the best guidance counselor and assistant principal Virginia Nunn if it wasn't for her I probably would have been expelled out of the school. But in the end this school isn't bad at all. We just got to get our kids more involved with school more.

I'd give it a five star because of all the good they do the one thing that make me smile is seeing students enjoy this school

I can not believe how poorly behaved the kids are at this school. From what I have found, discipline is not consistent and the students get away with too much. An Arts magnet school it is not! My child spends a good portion of the day in several band classes. I can not see a difference between her band class and other bands from other schools where the kids are in band only one period. I know Mr. Cooper, the principal, is new, hopefully he can turn it around.

I have 3 granddaughters I am raising and sending them to Electa Lee Middle was a great choice. I believe they do there very best to teach caringly. I am very pleased . The last child will start in the fall because I feel it is the correct choice . Also the high school and college give it a go all the way energy that the kids need to be inspired in this world full of choices.
