This school is honestly not that bad. Im a student here and the teachers are pretty nice, not very strict. The lunch lines are pretty bad though

This entire school, the staff, and the PRINCIPAL, more than anyone is a complete and utter JOKE.

Im a student here, I’m begging you to send your child to another school. Please find another option for them. Don’t put them through this.

I rate Bayshore High School a 1. These students deserve well rounded educated adults that "believe in them!" Their Free American students, born & grown in America; Not living in a communist country. They Need Encouragment & Support to Succeed, Bayshore! Idiots.

I am a current Bayshore student. School pride is nonexistent. JROTC quality is low when compared to other JROTC programs in the county. The English classes are behind in quality and materials. Math classes are where they should be, if not higher. Science is where it should be. History is where it should be. Most teachers are kind and try to help the students. The guidance office, not so much. Mr Underhills phone number for his work is not listed on the call directory. Their website is not user friendly. The student are not as advanced as other schools. They smoke ecigs when possible, even in class. The Assistant Principals are willing to turn this school around. It is a terrible experience for most students who care about your education. However, if you don't care, this is the school for you.

I also graduated from Bayshore in 2009. The programs need to be restructured. I remember in my freshmen year, our English teacher gave up teaching our class because he couldn't control the class. Every day we came to class and used the laptops until dismissal. The only positive aspect to those 4 years were that I was able to attend MTI for junior and senior year. I use those skills today even after graduating from FSU. Yes, I had to work harder in college due to the poor teaching at Bayshore. However, with enough encouragement and determination, I graduated FSU magna cum laude. Choose Manatee or Lakewood Ranch HS!
