Our family has been a part of Heritage Christian Academy for three years now, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. My 6-year-old daughter absolutely loves it here, and so do we as parents. From the moment we joined, it has felt like more than just a school—it is a community that truly cares about its students. One of the standout features is the smaller teacher-to-student ratio, which is an incredible 15:1 in kindergarten. This allows for more personalized attention, and it is clear that the teachers take full advantage of this opportunity to connect with each child. My daughter has thrived academically and emotionally because of this nurturing environment. The teachers at Heritage Christian Academy are exceptional, but I want to give a special mention to Ms. Collins. She goes above and beyond to make sure her students feel valued and supported. Her genuine care and dedication are truly heartwarming, and I know my daughter feels loved and encouraged every single day.Heritage Christian Academy is truly more than perfect, and we are so grateful to be part of this amazing school. It is a blessing to watch our daughter grow and flourish in such a caring and enriching environment. We highly recommend this school to any family looking for a place where children can thrive both academically and personally.

We have 2 kids attending HCA and are so incredibly happy with the academics and love that is shown to our kids. The staff truly cares about our kids. Our daughter is excited to go to school everyday! The administration has been very responsive and helpful with any issues. It feels like a family. We plan on staying at HCA for years to come.

My family has been attending Heritage for the last few years and I couldn’t be happier with our experience. It is a smaller school so the community feel is strong and something that we have valued. The school is accredited and all teachers are certified, so the learning environment has been quite strong. The Learning Success Center is a wonderful program that works with students that may be a bit low, academically. They have been working with one of my kiddos and the progress he has made has been so encouraging. We look forward to remaining at Heritage for years to come. The teachers and staff are always available, the gospel is at the forefront, and we have always felt that our children are safe. All in all, we have been extremely happy with our time at HCA!

This is our 2nd year attending heritage Christian and has been a disaster. The communication between families and administration has been horrible. One teacher has suggested ear plugs due to her not controlling the class. Their 504 plan is a joke don’t expect them to follow it (you will be required to pay for it as well). The head of school expected me to reach out to her teachers instead of them following the weekly contact which is part of her 504 plan. They switched teachers for another child without talking to their parent.... I really could go on & on and have the emails to prove what I’m saying. There was one day that was so bad when I got emailed information I almost pulled my daughter out immediately (the trauma they caused instead of calling me was horrendous) I have had the principal include me in on emails where he said thx so & so I know this is an inconvenience... their classrooms in middle school are so crowded that the kids cannot even use their backpacks and are carrying things from building to building. And yet they are attempting to expand and create a high school hmmmmIf you have attended this school since preschool it feels like a family but otherwise prepare to be an outsider.. it feels very jr high ish.

I was a previous student here during covid. Besides the fact that they didn't correctly follow the covid precautions and kids were constantly getting covid, it was just a horrible school overall. The school textbooks were racist towards chinese people, and they handed out booklets saying misogynistc and stereotypical things such as "Girls talk more and boys are more hyper." The teachers and students were homophobic, and also said things like "Dress your gender, men shouldn't wear high heels." If your looking for an accepting community, definetly don't choose this school. The students in my class were also lacking compared to the public school kids. The curriculum was very old-fashioned, having you do a lot of memorization and stuff of the like. The teachers never paid attention to the kids at recess. There was a kid who was bullied and chased around and hit with sticks, and called names. The dress code was very strict, especially towards girls. You would get in trouble for small things such as not wearing white tights. The teacher was unkind towards other religions and said rude and disrespectful things about them. She also said threatning things such as "If you don't pray everyday, the devil will open your door and get you."The booklets said things like "God created MAN and WOMAN." The teacher also shouted that at the end of year assembly, being transphobic towards enbys. The bible study book wasn't purely about the religion but also embraced views others might not share such as don't have sex before marriage.

I have students in both the preschool and elementary programs. The schoolIs organized and well-run, academics are outstanding, my children are challenged, thriving, and progressing, and they absolutely love going to school every morning. The before and after school program us also reliable and well-run. I love the small class sizes and the family-feel. I have no regrets at all sending my children to this amazing school:) our family has had students in public schools and we have homeschooled and HCA offers the best of both worlds.

My son loves Mrs. B's beginner preschool class! I have definitely noticed a huge boost in his confidence, and he's always learning something new. I will never forget my little 3-year-old perfectly belting out the Pledge of Allegiance when we randomly saw a flag; there's only one place he could've learned it. I love that this school has Christian values and is a tight-knit community. I've made some great friends here, and so has my son. I'm sure my daughter will love it too when it's her turn.

When you join the Heritage family, it feels exactly as it sounds, you become "family". That means we care about you and your goals and aspirations. We seek fellowship with you and want you to become a familiar face in school activities and programs. Here you can cultivate Christian friendships for your children as well as for yourself, personally. Heritage Christian Academy is dedicated to a family orientation that cultivates relationships between teachers, students, and parents. Our mission is to assist families, and we take that mission seriously.

Esther Walla is not the principal at Heritage Christian Academy. The School Board removed her from the school on April 11, 2014. The school has no leader.

Teacher s email 1 hour before class, which is almost impossible to get ready to school and do what is necessary on their emails. Wendy s the director is so slow in so many aspects,There was a fee for a 3 years old $80 lab, detail is for the construction of the lab. Arff, it is just a pain this school, the toys are old.

HCA has such a warm environment with a strong emphasis on living a Christ centered life. Great teachers, a strong principal and an involved parent population make this school top notch.

We LOVE Heritage. It has a warm family like atmosphere, the class sizes are small, and it's evident that the teachers really love their students. The academics are excellent, and I love that they also put great emphasis on values and how to be a good person, not just a good student.

We just started at Heritage Christian and it has been a wonderful transition. My son is shy and the smaller classes (with great and inclusive kids) has helped him to make friends more quickly. The teachers are wonderful! They truly partner with the parents individually so each parent feels that their child is getting the education that is best for them. The school has a great curriculum and is always open to changes to make it better for the students. We also appreciate that the school's values are consistent with our values at home. There is a family feel to the community and many parents are also very involved in school activities. We love Heritage and know we made the right move in enrolling our kids here.

HCA is a great school with a heart to help children and parents. Small class sizes contribute to better teacher/student and better teacher/parent interactions. I would highly recommend this school to anyone looking for a quality education that includes good moral standards too.

HCA has small class sizes, therefore giving the students more individual attention. The coordination that happens between all the staff to help keep consistency helps. As recess coordinator I strive to help with the rules in he class are the rules on the playground. I am very proud to work for HCA.

We like HCA very much. It is a place where you find both parents and teachers very dedicated in helping children develop their characters and academics. The school is a ministry of CrossPointe Church in Bothell, WA. Recently it has started a new program called Arrowsmith to help children with learning dysfunctions. Teachers in this program are trained to identify the weaker cognitive capacities that underlie learning disabilities, which affect these children both academically and socially. The program is aiming to help children achieve permanent change with their cognitive weaknesses. Although my children are not in this program, I am touched to see how teachers and parents work together tirelessly to bring this program alive and many families can now benefit from this effort. I highly recommend this school to others. The school faculty truly has the heart for our children.

It's a wonderful school. The teachers are very caring and truly have your children's well-being and education at the core of their teaching. In all things, they strive to model Christ and show the kids the love of God. Our son has been there for over four years now and has learned a tremendous amount and made many friends. And when our daughter was of age, we did not hesitate to enroll her there as well. It truly is a community and partnership with the teachers, administration, parents and students that make this place a super place for kids. The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) is very involved and each year raises thousands of dollars to improve the school facilities. And the school has just recently just added a science lab. My son enjoys Chess Club and our daughter who is in Kindergarten is also learning Spanish.
