We moved to Parkway when my kids were in 3rd, 5th, and 8th grade. Right from the start, the staff made us feel welcome and like part of the "family". The administration and teachers at Parkway have been amazing. I am so glad that we are part of the Parkway family now!

We have been at this school for 9 years. I haven't met a teacher who didn't care for my children and their learning. We struggle with teachers following the 504 plan but everyone is responsive and easy to reach. They have a large educational garden in several places on the school campus as well as a nature trail with tree identification placards. Simply a great school with a home like feel.

Our experience at Parkway Elementary has been an extremely negative one. The school building/location is great and the overall administration of the school is pretty good, however, most of the teaching staff is horrible and unqualified. Yes, they have their required degrees, but they are not focused on the needs of the individual student or his or her learning/educational needs. Behavior and staying in line/following the status quo is the only thing many of these teachers seem to care about, regardless if a child is only 5, 6, or 7 years old. "Real academics" are hardly even introduced and the "education" received is not a quality one. If your 6 year old acts like a 6 year old, then he or she will be in the office or sent home on a consistent basis. The teachers are not interested in finding out what interests the individual child or obtaining his or her attention or involving the bored child within the classroom. I rate (most) of the teachers here a grade of "F." If your child is highly intelligent and gets bored easily, I do not recommend sending your child here.

Parkway is a great school! It has caring teachers and workers. We have an excellent music department including plays, band, strings, and chorus. We also have a basketball, volleyball, track teams for middle school. Students can also join the county fottball team. Parkway school is like a private school in most places. Parkway is a great place for kids to grow up! Everyone is excepted and cared for by teachers.

Teachers are not the most patient for kids with learning disabilities. Administration was not very vigorous in responding to bullying, often punishing the victim for retaliation more than the perpetrators. One teacher said she was "too busy" to deal with bullying. Most homework consists of repetitive excercises xerored from workbooks or printed off of someone else's website. I'm glad my son doesn't go here anymore.

Parkway Elementary School is an excellent school with a great reputation, incredible teachers who care, involved parents with a good PTO, a very caring principal who goes out of her way, and impressive athletic teams (boys basketball 2011 and girls volleyball 2011 #1) and performing arts programs (Aladin 2011 was incredible). Before we came to Boone, we would have had to look at a private school to get this kind of quality education. Thank you to everyone involved with Parkway Schools!!

This elementary school has high academic results and the teachers are long term career educators and most are true practicing Christians.

Parkway school always has fundraiser (which are awesome) and things where parents are welcomed. Parkway's level of learning for students is very high. I would give it a 8 or 9 out of 10. All grades have fun ways of learning. what ever class you are in you are learning even in gym class. PARKWAY IS AWESOME!
