Very caring school and teachers. The families and teachers together create a wonderful community for learning.

I am a frustrated Mother of a 6th Grader at this school and want to remain anonymous. There is a family with two students enrolled here that continues to bring LICE to school. School officials found it a second time and had to send them home. This is a SERIOUS problem. Who wants their child to have lice? This family needs to guarantee that LICE is no longer on their girls before being let back into school. Mountain pathways should standup for it's students and families. NO MORE LICE.

We have had such a wonderful experience at this school. The teachers are extremely caring and have helped my children develop a love a real love of learning. They have grown both academically and socially. I can't say enough good things about the school.

We have two children w/ very different personalities who've attended the last 10 yrs. Beautiful, natural environment with significant outdoor time, passionate and caring teachers with a strong emphasis on community and individualized learning methods. We love this school as parents, and our kiddos love it as students.

Have a back up plan if you do decide to enroll your child here. Our child was 2 years old when you attended Mountain Pathways for 7 months. During the entire 7 months, we had one sit down conversation with his teacher. ONE. In that one sit down, we learned there was a day on the playground our child had trouble listening to his teacher. We were told in this ONE sit down that our child probably wouldn't be welcome back after the spring semester, which was only 4 weeks away. We emailed the Administrator that night, and sure enough, He wrote us back and said our child was not welcome back. Our entire family was devastated and confused. In retrospect, we are so glad we left. Our child has been at ASU Child Development Center for the last 15 months, and THRIVING. ASU CDC works with every child, loves EVERY CHILD, and would not turn their back as MPS. Survival of ONLY the fittest at Mountain Pathways it seems. Be Careful.

This is NOT Montessori as it was intended. There is such a demand for good childcare in Boone that MP has their pick of students. Instead of working with children through their challenges, they reject, weeding out the problems. Instead of teaching their students to navigate difference as the "citizenship" approach of Montessori demands, they are breeding elitism.
