We chose Saint Dominic for kids because we saw the importance of catholic teaching. My son is currently the only one at Saint doms he has been there since prek and let me just say teachers really do provide him a safe learning environment. He speaks highly of his school and his teachers. Additionally Bolingbrook is know for its diversity and Saint Dominic school won’t disappoint I love that my son is being expose to other ethnic backgrounds. We are a family at Saint Dominic there’s is so much that as parents we could really be involved with.

Excellent! This is a fantastic school. I have 3 children attending and they are receiving a wonderful education in academics and faith.

I have never seen a catholic school operate on this type of unprofessional behavior. The leadership there at St. Dominic is horrible. Definitely a school not accepting towards black children. Some of the teachers there should NOT be teaching at all. But the lack of care and concern from the leadership there does not apply towards making better decisions for minority students.

What a wonderful school! I have two children at this school. Not only are they receiving a great education, but they are building a strong foundation for their faith. I love that in addition to all the important education subjects, God and Jesus are part of their daily education, along with all the virtues. I am a public school teacher, and I see the absence of virtues in public education every day. I love that my 3rd grader is learning multiplication, reading comprehension, and being generous all in one day. The students and staff at the school are so friendly. The current principal is a Dominican sister, and runs the school very well. This school provides a fantastic Catholic education, and the tuition is very reasonable (especially with more than one child). Yes, if a child has major learning needs, this school is limited (for example children on the Autism Spectrum or children with specific reading disabilities), as there is no special education department. However, I have seen the school handle very specific health issues and minor learning disabilities very well. The school is small, with one class per grade, which really helps create a sense of community. Older students are "buddies" with younger students. The start of the year is so easy because there is no worries that your child's friends will be in a different classroom. In addition, there are many opportunities for parents to get involved if they choose, even on a daily basis. I could not imagine sending my children to any other school!

My son attended St. Dominic school from K-8 and received an excellent, well-rounded education that put him ahead of many other kids when he started high school. I highly recommend St. Dominic school. The teachers care about the individual students and take the time to help them and/or contact the parents as needed. I am extremely pleased with the education that my son received there.

St Dominics has been a wonderful experience for Both my children. 8th grader placed in AP programs in public school following St Doms. Teachers know all the students and are friendly to parents. Kids are respectful and well behaved. there have been 3 Principals due to the movement by the archdiocese. They have had different styles but the dedication to children, education and families is clear.

We removed our children after being at St. Dominic for several years. What we have learned is that this school is behind in teaching the children the basics for reading comprehension. Not only is most of the administrative staff unfriendly and not willing to help with any issues, but that most of the parents are just as awful. If you are looking for a Christian based school this is not the one!!!

I have three kids in this school with my eldest in 5th grade now. They have started at St. Dominic since pre-school. The school had improved a lot since the new principal took office - she is a nun and she values the "Catholic" side of what this institution truly has to offer - excellent Catholic education, Being Catholic educated myself from pre-school through college, I must say that this school is very much aligned to the core values of real Catholic education - Christ-centered and values-based learning. For me, that's what I value most in education.

Teachers seems very unable to handle many issues. I have had my son there in kindergarten and will remove after school year. Principle is unfriendly, unhelpful and only recomends psychological intervention as a basis for improvement. Not enough staff for after school programs. Very poor support system for students and parents.
