The care and development of one’s child is among the most sacred responsibilities in which a parent can entrust others. Enrolling our son in his new school probably made us feel more vulnerable than him! From day one, our experience with the staff at Albrook, especially his teachers and aftercare aids, has only made us feel comfortable with our decision. From our regular amazement at his pace of learning, to his obvious enthusiasm when talking about his classmates and teachers, we’re so appreciative of his time at the school and look forward to many more smiles in the future. Thank you, Albrook!

Albrook was a wonderful summer camp experience for my children. They learned to swim and kept up some of their academic skills while having lots of fun. They looked forward to going every day. The team takes special care to ensure each child is having a good experience. It is very comforting to know your child is so well cared for during camp.

Our kids have been here for the last two summer camps. It is absolutely amazing. The progress they've made in swimming is unbelievable.

My husband and his sister are alumna of Albrook, and now my children are loving their time there! They all started in Stepping Stones at 18 months old. The eldest is now going into her second year of lower elementary school. The ladies who run this school have been here for a generation. Their educational techniques and communication are finely tuned. They handled the first year of the pandemic without a single missed day of school. Their kindness and guidance have helped us through so many tough stages of early parenting. We are so grateful to have them in our lives. If you’re on the fence, please let this review push you over! Albrook is the right place!

Albrook is a fantastic school which suits my daughter perfectly, she was made to feel welcome from the first day and has thrived ever since. My son also attended camp there this summer and despite not knowing anyone, he had a wonderful time and learnt to swim!

I am so thankful that we found this school through a friend. We are constantly impressed at the professionalism and warmth of the teachers and the various activities our kids are exposed to (music, art, Spanish, drama, social emotional learning, as well as math and language).

From my own personal experience as a student to having all of my children attend, there is not a school in the area better than Albrook. Their Montessori curriculum truly educates the whole child. From their emphasis on logic and critical thinking, to their exposure to world cultures and customs, to their focus on peace and mindfulness your child will walk out of Albrook a more inquisitive compassionate child with a love of learning and a heart filled with kindness.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Albrook School. It is like nowhere else in the world I have experienced. I am so grateful that we found this school, and both of my boys have just flourished here, under the nurturing, experienced care of the fabulous teachers and administration. All the teachers, it seems, have been at the school for at least a decade, and to say they know what they're doing is an understatement. My boys are thrilled to go to school each day, and I am blessed to know they are immersed in an environment of kindness, respect, and love. They have learned to be empathetic and good citizens, and of course they have a wonderful academic foundation that has made them love learning and yearn for more. I wish we could stay here forever!

The Albrook School has teachers with the highest professional integrity and an incredible degree of warmth and empathy for the children. The Montessori method is alive and well at Albrook, and the children are thriving as a result. Throughout our son’s 5 years at Albrook, the educational standards have been very high and the teaching has consistently accommodated his specific needs. Finally, the community is welcoming and the curriculum excellent. I am so happy we found Albrook!!!

Not a life changing place in spite of the Montessori marketing hype! This school and its staff are nothing out of the ordinary. Like most pre-schools, they have a fixed mindset about what each kid can achieve (they try to screen for ability during the application process rather than taking on the work of developing kids’ abilities). They don't know how to work with kids even just a schmidge out of the norm and tend to pathologize even the slightest developmental delay. Also, they seem to have an hourly attitude when it comes to work and get frustrated if a parent asks to meet with them outside of the annual check ins.
