Liberty Corner Elementary has been a wonderful experience for our family. The academic program is excellent, challenging students while making learning engaging and fun. The teachers are dedicated and really invest in the kids, not just academically but also in teaching important values like respect and kindness. The staff is supportive, and the school creates a warm, nurturing environment. If you’re looking for a school with strong academics and a focus on personal growth, I highly recommend Liberty Corner.

I am extremely disappointed with the quality of education at Liberty Corner. Since enrolling my child here, I have noticed a significant decline in their academic performance and overall level of education. The curriculum seems outdated and lacks the necessary rigor to challenge and engage the students. Additionally, it has become apparent that some teachers have favorites, giving preferential treatment to certain students while neglecting others. This favoritism is unfair and detrimental to my child's learning experience. I had high hopes for this institution, but it has failed to meet even the most basic educational standards. I would not recommend this school to any parent who values their child's education.

Learning & Teaching: Kids might enjoy the learning process. But some don't feel challenged and others are left behind. Grades and scores are low. Parents aren't made aware if they're child is struggling until spring, which is then too late. Some teachers are inspirational, others are not. Some play favorites, some say inappropriate (unkind) things to students. Many good teachers have left, and it seems like certain teachers who say unkind things to students, it takes a while to have them no longer be at the school. They have an SEL program and their guidance counselor is great. However, many things on paper look great, but fall short in real life. It's known for students to be denied support and they don't take as much care with HIB - at least since they have new administrators which has been for many years now. The students do a better job at supporting each other than sometimes the adults at the school. There are some teachers who look the other way when kids are not being nice, and there are others who will care about your child as their own and address it. The administrators don't seem to like parents. It seems they want to keep a wall up between the educators and parents. Parents are usually left in the dark as to what's happening in the school and why. They seem disorganized, but that might be due to the lack of real communication. It's difficult to build a community if the administrators don't really want one and it's mainly the parents who are trying to connect the school community. It's important to show up to school and community events. Everything runs top down, the students learn etiquette, communication, etc. from the teachers who are given those expectations and have that exemplified by the administrators. It often feels like they're just there to "keep the lights on." So many teachers and families had left the LCS community for these reasons.

The school is great overall. The music program and special education is superb. My kids love going to LCS, the teachers and classmates are mostly amazing. Every concern we had was answered quickly and respectfully. The PTO creates great events for the students. With each year kids love it even more.

Not sure how it is now, but back in the Early 1990s the LCS was ahead of it's time when it came to Special Education programs including Pre-School with P.E.A.C.H. In the late 1990s when I was in 5th grade, that program did get moved to Cedar Hill when I was there. Perhaps the school has become way too big for it's own good as a *Major* addition was added the year after I moved onto Cedar Hill for 3rd grade. Teachers were pretty tough there, everyone got put into "Time Out" a lot for minor things. Still a great school overall.

There is a reason why this school rates consistently lower than all the elementary schools. Good character is required of the children--but not the faculty/admin. Wish our son had gone to another school in the district. Change is needed.

I have two children attending LCS, 3rd grade and Kindergarten. We've been delighted with all teachers we've been assiged at LCS and the principal and assistant principal are excellent. I feel my children are recieving a high quaility academic education as well as a good grounding in principles and respect for others. I highly recommend LCS.

Best run elementary school. The teachers and principal really care about the students. My daughter loves going to school everyday. The choir program is fantastic!

School with wonderful staff of educators. Apart from academics, the confidence imbibed in the kids through character education, prevention of bullying,no child is left behind are on par.
