We have been nothing but happy with Potter. From virtual school, to preschool to Kindergarten, the teachers and staff have been nothing but accepting, inclusive and loving to my children. I love it!

Wonderful school! A lot of effort is put into character development and bullying prevention. The teachers are great and the PTA is very strong. There's a before-school fitness club and after school clubs such as Minecraft club, board game club, etc. There's a student council and also a choir and they put on an annual school play. They even offer a summer camp for students with learning disabilities who don't qualify for the Extended Year Program. They've won the recycle rally several times and used the jackpot money to improve the playground and build a gazebo. The students don't have to bring most of their own supplies because the PTA provides them. The PTA raises a lot of money through it's annual Halloween Zombie apocalypse haunted house and other events.

h and m potter, my 3rd son is attending potter and my 4th will be in 2 more years. This school is one of the most outstanding elementary schools there are. They really do treat your child like their own, its a very warm atmosphere. The teachers are outstanding, right down to the girls in the office Sally and mrs. bartelli.... I wouldnt live anywhere else. I feel safe when my kids are in school, with the presence of a police officer everyday, it makes it even better. they truly are the kindest school. Dr. Zito is an excellent role model for the students there, he really makes potter what it is today...

We have had the absolute pleasure of sending three of our children to Potter. I wouldn't know where to begin praising the faculty. From Dr. Zito on down the faculty is top notch. My children all love(d) going to school every day. Without deviation, my third grader cries on the last day of school each year and cannot wait to get back in the fall. It is simply the most conducive environment for learning imaginable. I feel blessed that we were lucky enough to have landed there.

My kids have had the pleasure of attending the Berkeley School system most of their lives. (I moved my older one in from a God- awful Catholic school...Thank goodness I did!) Accompanying the daily curriculum, proper manners, social graces (bullies are NOT tolerated!) & lessons are taught consistently throughout and is evident in Potter's philosophy, a philosophy encouraged and enacted every single day they are in session. That philosophy includes respect and "Believing in you,", reminded to the students EVERY morning during announcements. The principal knows each student by name and addresses each as such, more evidence that what they preach, they practice. Teachers make it a point to be aware of each students strengths and weaknesses; to praise where it's warranted and support where students need it most, as well as encouraging appropriate independence & responsibility as they mature. It's a wonderful foundation to give these kids what I'm sure most forget by the time they reach middle school in other districts. The staff are parents too...therefore, any issues that arise are addressed swiftly and appropriately, just in the way they'd want to have THEIR children taken care of.

My daughter went to this school.. kindergarten through 4th grade (she's now in 5th) .. It was better than expected.. :) The principal, teachers, etc.. were the best!! I cannot say enough good things about this school.. AWESOME.. :)

Attitude of students is excellent, teachers are very cooperative and student morale is high!
