My son has learned new things this year and I can only attribute that to his main teacher. I would not say he is excited about it but learning all the same. I cannot attest to the rate of learning as compared to other schools. The safety standards at this school are minimal at best. The professionalism is only there if you do not challenge anything the school staff have done. If you try and challenge the staff, even with a legitimate complaint, the professionalism is gone, and the staff does everything to protect their own, even when their own is wrong. The principal, educated maybe, but does not have the capacity to properly run a school. The standards of NJ public schools need to be reassessed, as well as the staff.

This school is terrible if you have a child in special education. The Child Study team is clueless and will fight to deny your child an appropriate education. Toms River schools on a whole are disgusting when it comes to special education - please do your research if you have a special needs child!
