This school allows bullying with ZERO consequences. They seem more worried about donations and tuition than the well being of the students. I would not recommend this school your better off in a public school then here….

Bullying runs rampant at this school and it is allowed to continue. They don’t keep students safe from this ongoing problem. This administration has destroyed what once was a wonderful school. There are no appropriate consequences for severe inappropriate behaviors. It seems clear that enrollment is what matters most now.

We have been part of the SJGS Community for 7 years. SJGS has met our expectations for providing our child with a daily reinforcement of faith, respect, and curriculum. Our experience as a family has been a very good one. The teachers have been amazing. They have set expectations in the classroom and have given my child the tools he needs to do well. When our son has needed extra help the teachers have been more than willing to provide the additional help. (all you have to do is ask). There are some services available for children that have some special needs but it is not extensive like the public schools. SJGS fosters an environment that brings the families together in after school hour events including band recitals, sports and plays. Overall, it has been a pleasure to be part of this school community.

Alright, so for the past two years, two teachers have been fired mid year. First, one had a nervous breakdown and threw textbooks, the next emptied out a child's desk for absolutely no reason because she thought for some reason that the kid stole a test? Then mocked another student and made one cry all at once. No playground, and outdated practices, please just send your kids anywhere else! This school cares more about money and looks than experiences and learning.

I attended SJGS from 1st through 8th grade. I truly loved my time here and will send my child once she is ready to start!

I do not feel I fully benefitted from sjgs during my grade school years. There is heavy bullying that trickles down from administrative faculty and creates a negative environment. The current principle bullied me when she was a teacher, and it seems the bullying hasn’t stopped as she now has more power. Anyone against her is in the wrong and she has made multiple teachers feel uncomfortable and not heard. When there are that many issues within the facility, it becomes a negative environment for everyone including the students. If it wasn’t for the arts programs at sjgs I wouldn’t have had a silver lining or something to look forward to while attending school here.

This is one if the best schools around. The entire school community is kind, caring and compassionate. Sending our child here was the BEST decision we made! Everyone from the director down to the cafeteria workers truly love the children. Love the Christ-centered education they provide. Thank you SJGS !

Poor kids don't have a playground to play on. All worried about the way u look not howMuch you learn. The older grades they have lockers with names and just babyish stuff. It's nothing like a real middle school for these kids to grow. The assistant princaple is selfish and rude. Not a school I recommend there's nothing fun to let the kids grow. The poor kindgergarteners get 10 minutes outside and 30 minutes lunch! Who does that!!! It's ridiculous!! No markers in school? Still got the old chalk boards!!! Please send your kids to the public school it is much better!!!!

The teachers at St. Joe's are really caring. We're a military family moving around from school to school. Catholic schools is one of the stabilities I can give my children. I must say from the review before this one I have encountered several problems with my one son in the lower grades, but the teachers, assist prinicipal Ms. "J", Ms."D"& Rainbow Group Ms."M" is an asset that can trumph the other things that happen here. Parents of some of the children might have them here for reasons other then the christian-catholic environment, for status or traditions, so they forget/or don't know what Catholic schools have as their center core values. My daughter is in 6th grade & having a fabulous year. What we learned as a familiy the schiool is only as good as it's community. The children are products of their homelife and as the saying goes a few bad apples can spoil the barrel. So, as for a school that is founded on catholic-christian morals, it would be a great place for a child to grow. Maybe your child can be the example of a well mannered, unspoiled catholic respectful student where ever you choose for them go to school
