This charter school is #1 as a recipient of the 2020 Felton Business Award. It is a great alternative to a comprehensive K-12 school(s)

I love this place, most importantly my daughter is finally good with school and enjoying it! It's a homeschool charter school that is responsible about showing academic support and it is different from styles like unschooling. personally I like the mom breathing time of dropping her off for a few hours 2 days a week. I need this so I don't burn out. The teachers actually are involved more with the kids and there is a family connection. We went here in first grade and for second grade and third grade went to public school. The lessons were so fast that she hated going. Now we are back and I actually love the program even more, it feels more organized and connected. We learn at her own pace and there is no more tears and frustration! Love love love the teachers!!!

The school has changed dramatically since these other reviews have been written. No more home school, it's a charter school. They have cherry picked students, which is illegal, for their programs. The classes have become clique-ish and exclusive with teachers who do not put social emotional intelligence first. My son refused to go to it anymore because of the bullying..and he had been a student there 8 years when the take over began. I refused to put my daughter in the school, QHIA, program because of the change, too "cliquey" there with bullies. Teachers are not well trained. Homeschooling in the SLV is no longer supported. They call it homeschool but it's a hybrid, kids are in class with teachers most of their hours. So if you want to tell everyone you homeschool but really don't want to be with your kid, you'd rather drop them off and go..this is the program for you. It is not homeschooling. We were their a very long time and it is so different, no freedom, big classes, ...just like regular school! No thank you.

I love this school for my daughter. They understand how to teach to a child who needs more creativity in her assignments. They teach critical thinking skills and encourage individuality in their work. These teachers know how to keep the focus interesting and each student participating. We love our attentive teachers and the class sizes are small.

BEST school ever! I attended this school from 2008-2011. VERY nice teachers they are very helpful. They offer elective classes that no other school offers. Learning here is really fun but still academically strong so you can succeed in college.
