I wasn't even able to get through 4 months of school before I had to move. Constant harassment and little to no intervention. I remember hearing a kid getting locked in a locker and the only thing done was a small announcement in advisory not to talk about it. Hallways were always dirty and filled with papers pencils and erasers. A kid stabbed me with a pencil and had pencil lead in my skin with a mark still there to this day. Never go here, protect your kids from the hell that is mountain view middle school.

My daughters went here and they came home every day crying. My youngest was sexually harassed here and we are sad to say that she was not the only one and the school didn't care. My eldest was constantly hurt and bombarded with insults. My daughters were in classes with 40+ kids per teacher and the drugs are everywhere. Would never recommend it to even those I hate.

My girls loved the music program and math teachers. I felt like the teachers cared. It's a hard age and the diversity at the school is a plus.

Awful experience. We are enrolling our child in private school and will not send our youngest one here either. Kids do not feel safe, bullying is rampant. Staff and students are so stressed that no one is happy in this school. Students can not learn when neither they nor the staff feels safe or happy.

My son's's grades have slowly plummeting ever since he entered this school. He can't focus in the classrooms, because there are too many disruptions. So he can't get his work done in the class. This results in him A) spending all his evening time trying to catch up and failing and B) missing instructions on how to complete the assignment this failing. He is frustrated and mad. As parents, we feel like we are always harping on him about school work. At first, we thought maybe it was an individual situation with our son, but after talking to many parents, we found out many are having the same experience.

Over all i found this schools staff negligent and unaware . The students were like pack animals. The environment wasnt the worst but it was not very enjoyable either.

Both of my kids went to this school. While it is somewhat dated with wood paneling in the halls and needs an upgrade, the teachers and staff are wonderful. Both of my kids got a great education here to prepare them for high school
