Poor. I initially loved it but after the bullying has gone on for so very long with no effective solutions, I'm going to transfer my son to another school

As the parent of a kindergartner I had grave concerns about beginning formal schooling. I am extremely pleased with my son's experience so far, however. He has shown a lot of growth academically and it's been wonderful to finally connect with other families within our neighborhood. The school appears to be on the verge of an upswing and I'm excited that we get to be a part of that.

My daughter has been at this school for 2 years now. She wishes she could go back to Brown Elementary, a school I thought was very bad. Last year she had no homework as a school policy. This year she has homework, but it seems like her curriculum is way behind. Overall, I don't think she's progressing as well as she could. The classes are distracting and the students are running them.

This school is not what it used to be like when my older kids attended and Mr.Cordon was the principal and Mrs.Lass was the school counselor they were the best and went out of their way helping any way they could even transporting one of my sons to and from school if he was having a bad day and knew my situation.Used to feel like one big happy family walking in to this school now its just awkward and strange like at times. My litttle ones go there now but hopefully will be moving soon.

We started our son at Fir Grove this fall. It has been a great school environment for him so far! After attending a school at highly rated West Linn School District, we are far happier with Fir Grove. This is a caring environment that supports kids at all levels. Above all, he is so happy here. The kids, parents, teachers and staff are friendly and want to make Fir Grove a community!

A great school that has an excellent curriculam, caring teachers and very involved parents. Lots of student enrichment through activities of chess club, science night, open house, class projects, music and sports. Awesome PTO working in partnership with staff makes an environment that encourages the community to be involved. Excellent music program that touches on so many aspects of language, history, math, AND music. Principal really sets a great tone for respectful behavior and the students feel a sense of ownership and strive for postive behaviors and good citizenship.
