This is our neighborhood school. The principal and staff truly care about each student and that, to me, is most important. Due to school closures in the district due to low enrollment and families choicing into the school, the class sizes have increased substantially since we started here 5 years ago. However, the class sizes are still on par with other schools. I feel honored for my kids to go to this school.

Outstanding. Caring teachers and a supportive administration. A gem of a neighborhood school

A few years back, I only heard rather negative things about Fremont. But now, under the Principal's stewardship, there is an active PTA, staff is always smiling and helpful, teachers are energetically engaging students. I am seeing more parents "choice" into Fremont. I am lucky enough to have this as my district school.

This is an excellent school students are challenged to excel academically. There is adequate homework and the students are expected to respect their peers. The PTA is actively involved and engaged.

I went to this school as a child and remember it fondly. The teachers were creative and warm, the special programs memorable and engaging, and the principal an excellent leader. The school and its culture provided a solid early foundation for me to excel in school and life, and now I am happy in my career and doing very well. I know times change and schools may change as well, but this school has a tradition of excellence and a long history of nurturing both the heads and the hearts of its students.

My son just started at this school. I told his teacher he had gone to private schools prior to this. I was worried about how he would adjust. She called me three days later to let me know he was doing great. I appreciated it very much. he also mentioned how much he liked his teacher Mrs. Silverstone. Sue is the office secrtary who has gone above to make us feel welcome.

My child has attended Fremont K - 2nd grade and we've been very happy with the education she has received. She has had excellent teachers in every grade, including specials teachers. She has special needs and has received needed services including supportive teachers and administration. Heading into severe budget cuts next year, we feel confident that our child will continue to receive a quality education.

I am so displeased with Fremont. I love my son's teacher, however, the system is failing him. My son has Autism, and because Fremont enrolled a maximum number of students into it's program this year, he is not being integrated into a typical classroom as he should be. This child has tremendous potential which is being swept under the rug because of the student teacher ratio. He is a 5th grader in an ASD room full of kindergartener's. I am NOT happy, and I am lining up my ducks!

It is funny so many positive reviews however I live on a street with over 40 other children of elementary and middle schools age and only one...one...attends or has ever attended this school as their home school. All other parents open enroll their children in other schools...why? because the academic standard at this school is very, very low. Our child and her class are easily a grade or more behind other surrounding schools. Academically, the school is sub-par -" no child left behind" so they bring everyone in class down to the level of the slowest learners. If you have mediocre or low expectations for your child's education then you will love it. The children sure have fun with 2 recesses, infrequent homework and an easy schedule - it's all fun, fun fun !
