This School is by far one of the worst schools I have ever been to in my entire life. It's so bad my parents had to pull me out before senior year. In fact someone I know was forced to delete a review about the school because the administration was emailing and calling his parents. As a student from FLA, all I have to say is please do not send your kid here. It is a toxic environment and is way to small meaning your stuck with whoever is there. Its literally a cult school.

FLA is a overpriced school. There are some good qualities for this school but bad qualities outweigh the good in some cases. Some recommendations would be about the tardy policy for the first class. The first class if your late to it you wont have to pay $5. But it still counts against your 5 tardies for detention. That isn’t fair for parents and students. Parents cannot control how traffic drives. And most teachers are not very merciful about that. I wouldnt really recommend this school to someone.

This school does not care about anything but power, money, and rules. The principal and some of administration is extremely sexist, holding girls to a different standard than the boys, and completely different rules for the boys all together. Administration will pretend to listen to you what you have to say, but ultimately never listen to suggestions from parents or the students. Bullying is a huge problem on this campus, and when cases of bullying are brought to administration with several statements and concrete evidence, nothing gets done. This school cares more about making sure you are following the "rules" then the students personal relationship with God. I went to this school for four years and it has done nothing but pushed me and my friends further away from our faith. Tuition continues to go up, and the money never goes to anything that will benefit the students, it all goes to promoting the school so that they can make even more money. This is the most hypocritical and toxic environment I have ever been in. Please do not waste your money by sending your kids here.

I came to FLA my freshman year and stayed all four years. I spent most of my time at the school between all the events they host and my on campus job. I love this school, including all the staff and students in it. The teacher to student ratio is great and allows the teachers to really help you one-on-one. They always make themselves available during lunch or even outside of school hours. The administration really knows the students and like to be involved as much as possible. I recommend this school to anyone who asks. Forest Lake Academy will quickly become your second family.

My husband graduated from FLA and my two sons. It is a great school that gives students a firm foundation spiritually, academically and socially. It has an exceptional art and music department and a very active varsity sports program. It is a great place for high school students to explore and grow their God-given talents and passions while being challanged and prepared academically for college.

I am a student at fla it's a great school I used to go to OJA then I went to public school and then came to fla OJA and FLA where and are the best times I have had I learned the most here I feel very comfortable speaking my mind and in public school the teachers didn't honestly care what we had to say then. This school is great although old but in the process of repairing. I think once it is completed it will be the best , safest, nicest, school to go to , plus the iPad system is working great here

This school was the worst school I've ever been to.Teachers barely thought about the students and did not think about getting the school whole spiritually. Most self centered and non Christian school I've ever been to.Bring kids to this school only if you want to: fall into debt, have your kids lose their faith in Christ or get a bad education. I gave them 1 star because I had to but in reality they get 0 stars
