I used to be a student here from kindergarten till the end of 7th grade. It was a good experience but the only concern is, is that there is barely any discipline for kids in classes and the school would not do anything for loopholes found by students. There was a website where they could enter a YouTube link and watch the video. I remember telling my teachers about this because it seemed like it was getting out of hand and they just said, “I know” like what the heck. Good school, just some bad things.

I have a current student as well as a recent graduate. The teachers and administration are wonderful. They go above and beyond for their students. Mrs. Kahle is a warm and loving principle who runs a school with high standards.

At this school, the children are disrespectful to the teachers and other students, at least in my grade. The teachers rarely punish them, so they know they can get away with things. The school’s dress code is harsh and unnecessarily strict for the girls. The principal gets the job done, even though she is probably the most scary woman I have ever met.

I have been going here since kindergarten, and the experience is different for everyone in my opinion. Your experience will be made better if you’re white, wealthy, and if your child is neurotypical, all of which do not apply to me. Homework: Homework here is standard, not too much but not too little. Just enough time my opinion.Teachers:It really depends on the teacher. I have had some amazing experiences with some teacher (ones who make me want to learn, who actively help me with stuff I don’t understand, etc.) and others who fall very, very, flat (getting angry when students ask for help, targeting students, etc.) It really just depends on who the teacher is, but I’m not gonna name any names.Leadership:The current principal is fine, but I fell like she lacks empathy. Other than that, leadership is standard.Character:I’m not gonna fully blame this on the school because, jeez, do some parents need to discipline their kids. In my grade, students are loud, rude, mean, and barely respect teachers. I don’t know how it is in other grades but my gosh. These kids don’t learn anything and the teachers rarely do anything about it. Maybe a lecture and an infraction, but they never seem to learn their lesson.Learning Differences:Ok, they do let kids with learning disabilities have extra time on tests, but that’s it. I rarely, if ever, see teachers tutoring these students.Bullying:I, personally, have not experienced bullying nor seen it in a very serious manner (at least in my grade.) There is drama from time to time, so we have a counselor who helps us. She’s ok.P.S.A lot of the parents are snobby as hell. My own mother felt judged by them. In conclusion: I think this school is only good for certain students, and I know I went a little harsh on my review, I’m just trying to have this school be the best it can be since I have an emotional connection. And on the school recommendation, I’m a little in the middle about it but I’d rather go to private school than public so it’s just gonna be a yes.

It’s nothing but a glorified public school. They don’t seem to care about academics and are very strict. My transition from public school to ACA was hard. I ended up learning the same stuff, just with better and nicer kids. I miss public school. Will be going there soon though. I haven’t dealt with bullying, but the older kids can be rude which is typical. I have had a couple bad teachers, some that don’t even check homework which is not beneficial and kids often failed tests. But there are some good teachers including social studies. My brother with ADHD was rejected from the school which is sad. But when I joined, there was a ton of kids who had it. Rude. This school does not support students with learning difficulties. To be honest I wish I stayed at a public school.

The principal and guidance counselors are elitists. The parents are snobby. The school overall is not welcoming to new students, especially to those who have learning differences. The large class size and single approach to teaching doesn’t not allow those to get ahead or get individual attention. I would look elsewhere for a school that actually values all students just as God values all of his children.

My kids love their teachers! My husband and are impressed with all of the technology, robotics and sports. The art teacher is amazing!

Amazing facility, amazing staff. The campus is just beautiful, both the school and the church. The gorgeous courtyard where the precious daily prayer service is held is the most beautiful way to start the day. Everyone is so welcoming and the academics are impressive. We compared to four other Catholic schools and two private Christian schools and could not be happier with our decision.

Choosing Annunciation Academy was the best decision that we made when moving to the Orlando area. The students in my daughter's 5th grade class were welcoming and friendly to her from the first day. The school provides an array of activities after school that is hard to find in any other school. The facility is save and always impeccably clean. The cafeteria serves great meals and my daughter raves about the food every day. The front office administration is the nicest and kindest that I have seen in a long time. The principal is always present . There is a breakfast with the principal once a month where you can bring up any question or issue that you may have. The parents are always volunteering and helping. It's a very nice environment all together. It is academically challenging but not stressful on the child. The teachers are encouraging. We just have good things to say about the school and I highly recommend Annunciation Catholic Academy .

Annunciation Do not except children that need extra help even if they have a sibling that attends the school. Some of the staff are very sarcastic, unhelpful and unapproachable. I thought I would had been very satisfied with annunciation and iam rather displeased. When I was younger I attended a catholic elementary school and H.S I guess things just aren't the same any more .

We moved over from a seminole county elementary school because we wanted to instill a Catholic foundation for our 4th and 5th grade children. The tour didnt brag about their strong acedmic curriculum. I was happily surprised at the strong academic strength of ACA. Now my daughter is in a grade ahead in math due due her ability. ACA students consistently score in the top 155 of the nationwide standardized tests! We love our new school And would highly recommend it to anyone, switching over at any grade level!

My kids are both new to the school this year from another school and all I can say is we have found Catholic school heaven! My kids teachers really care, there are teaching assistants in every class, the faith is really emphasized and the classes are well structured with a very challenging curriculum. My kids come home everyday telling me about all the wonderful things they are doing. My kindergartener went on a Gingerbread man hunt (which is all she could talk about for days!). Seeing them walk into Mass every week brings tears to my eyes. Everyone is just so warm and welcoming. I would whole heartily recommend this school to anyone who wants a strong Catholic school with a very challenging curriculum that will prepare your kids for the future.

My children have attended the school for several years and I can say it is a glorified public school. Here your kids will be taught the common core and have 28-30 kids in their class. So actually public school might get your child more personal attention. Group punishment is the norm, there are bullies and you aren't allowed to help in the classrooms. The music and art programs are good but academics definitely aren't the focus. Kindergarten is sweet and charming but after that, the teachers get progressively colder and more out of touch.

My school is Annunciation Catholic Academy, I think this school is not that great because There are many bullies at this school and no teacher wants to help kids that Are getting bullied. The Subject area of this school is also not that great they won't help me achieve my goals
