The principal at this school is a very irate disrespectful man who disrespects parents, and it will be reported to the school district. They need to hire a better principal if you talk to parents like that, God only knows how he talks to our children.

My son just transfer to this school and I ask him everyday if he learned anything new. He tell me no do to that fact of him already learning it in fourth grade talk about a disappointment. Last there pick is unsafe and very disorganized. Turns out if there a car rider they have teachers there to stand and that's it. Not to help the kids load up or help them on we're to go just confuse them more. So I just parked my car and got him several times. Then one day they told me I had to sign him out to found out I didn't but give them my id but the lazy teachers out front couldn't do that besides be rude. Also when you get your kid early they make you get your student talk about unsafe they don't know my background or anyone's. Safe is not the priority.

From my son's first day at Forest City Elementary, we've felt welcome. His teachers have been wonderful, the ladies in the office are amazing... everyone at that school wants to see these kids succeed.

My daughter just graduated from Forest City and I couldn't be more happy !!!! A week before school let out for the summer the teachers wanted to have a conference to talk about her behavior, how she disturbed the class and spoke out of line and was rude to the teachers . If this is true I would here been at the school immediately to solve this situation. I not once got a letter stating she was being this way . Im not saying she is perfect . If she was so terrible why was she always receiving sunshine grams left and right???? From my understanding you get those when you are quiet, polite help the teacher and other students , when you are quiet in the hallways !!!!!

I love the school and my daughter loves it and enjoys been there. Ms. Liptai (2nd grade) is an excellent teacher and she has helped my daughter so much. My daughter is in the honor roll and we are proud to be part of FCE.

My children have been attending this school for 5 years now, and I've got say . . . we love it! Every single teacher has taken a personal interest in my child and their overall success. They've been easy to communicate with and quick to respond. The children LOVE their school! I've been especially impressed with the music program. Forest City is extremely supportive of their music department - even offering after-school chorus, Orff (basic percussion) and recorder ensembles. My children have participated in musicals, cultural celebrations, Veteran's Day extravaganzas . . . the list goes on. I'd be remiss if I didn't give a shout out to the principal, Mr. Arena. He is an involved principal that you see all over the campus, not hiding out in his office. I've even spotted him helping a parent with a stalled out car. He genuinely cares about his students, and I'm grateful for that. Oh, and the front office staff is incredibly kind too. :) Long story short, Forest City Elementary is a fabulous school!

My child is a English speaking student in the dual language class. The Spanish speaking teacher doesn't appear to really care about the students. She said she has been at home raising her children and is now getting back into teaching. I hope she get her mind into teaching quickly. My child comes home and do not understand Spanish work. We have had a great experience at F.C.E. prior to this class. The other teachers we've had up to this pointhave been great.

The teachers and administration are wonderful and so willing to help. They do their best to challenge students, and give attention to those who need more help whether academic, or socially and behaviorally. It would be nice to have a slightly more open door policy, so that parents could visit classrooms easily.
