The whole 9 th grade I got bullied from girls and boys. My mother would attend school meetings report the incidents, and no one would do anything at all. The assistant principal was also against me and would not greet me in the hallway she would greet the kids who I had issues with. I also got jumped one day I reported it to the principal and assistant principal, and they took the student in the office the next day she was doing tix toc with security guard. Nothing was ever done. The guidance counselor DeJesus told me I was going to summer school just to worry me and made me sad. When my mother approached her, she stated that she never informed me this information. Everyone was against me and the facility staff as well. It was to the points where the principal told my stepfather there's something I'm doing to the students that making then treat me the way they were. I will be suing the school soon for emotional l trauma and lack of efforts to stop the bullying. Do not send your child to this school.

I love it here, with the pandemic everyone is trying hard! I'm so glad I went to Roosevelt, I don't know where I'd be without their love and support!

Absolutely Horrible!! HUGE MOLD and LEAD PROBLEM at this school that the administration and superintendent keep on the down low in fears of people spreading the word!!! Seriously, Mold and Lead and our children are attending this school! Prinicpal Dechent and Superintendent Quezeda are an absolute joke!! Administration fails to provide faculty with adequate resources to do their job!! They pass students who have no business passing! All they care about is their numbers!! Highly corrupt administration who live in fear and are slaves to the prinicipal. Drugs and gang activity are rampant in this school, my son comes home and tells me horror stories of what goes on here. Dilapidated building with some serious health violations. The teachers are great but too bad the administration doesn't support them at all. They are basically their slaves and avoid helping them at all costs! Absolutely horrible and Roosevelt, Dechent and Quezeda should be ashamed of themselves and should be fired immediately!

As a student going to Roosevelt, well it's a great school. The teachers are amazing, the school is beautiful, and everyone has an amazing opportunity through the colleges that are in partnership with the school. From the moment you walk in, college is already spewing about everywhere. However, the kids are all the same and few numbers take advantage of their opportunities. Lately, the district of Yonkers are putting high achievers into not very well talked about schools. I recommend the school to anyone who wants to attend college straight out of highschool, and anyone who wont succumb to the kids.

I am sad to say that this school is coming to an end next year. I graduated from this school in June of 2011 and i must say that in years that i attended the school i noticed dramatic change towards the end of of my High school years. I was disappointed when i heard the news that Early College High School was gonna share the foundation with RHS and heartbroken when they said they were going to replace Roosevelt in 2013. The teachers and staff there were great, many teachers there were geniuses in my opinion. Unfortunately, the students did a horrible job at representing RHS's good side and gave the school a bad name.
