I have worked in many Yonkers public schools, but have never found such a great team of teachers , knowledgeable, friendly, ready to help, dedicated to their students and to one another. The principal, Ms. Davy, is a wonderful leader. She is giving her time to all students and staff. She keeps the school very clean and neat. She is a great woman and leader who knows how to inspire all of us.I have been working 25 years as a veteran teacher for the NYCDOE and for the last year for the Yonkers DOE in a lot of schools. I have never seen such happy teachers and students, such a sense of family and belonging.

There's a lot of bullying from the older kids to the smaller ones. Even in the bus. Glad I took my daughter out right away. No way I was going to let her stay there. Don't let them put your child here.

The parking lot and after school traffic is complete mayhem with pedestrians, cars, and buses all trying to get by on a street that only has space for one way. We've seen cars get hit and many accidents almost occur; it is really dangerous. The whole thing is poorly managed, and it doesn't seem like anyone cares. Recently added 7th and 8th grade, and the school is unorganized. Teachers are okay; but the administration really did drop the ball somewhere over the last few years. Leadership seems to be weak. I heard this used to be a really good school.
