My daughter attended Wyncote Elementary and just moved up to EP this year. She excelled there with support from her teachers and counselor. She especially enjoyed the after school Pokémon club. We felt supported as parents, and I’d recommend the school to anyone considering moving to the district. Also the facility is beautiful and new. They also took security and COVID measures seriously which we appreciated.

I'd give a 7 (on a scale of 10). The teachers get a SOLID 10. The poor environment pulls down that score.

The *teachers* at Wyncote Elementary are top notch. Really care about the kids and they do a fantastic job of what they do.The principal, on the other hand, appears to be a pencil pusher that cares a lot about the bureaucracy of the school district. The kids get good lip service, and as long as the kids don't fall outside the middle of the bell curve, there is no problem here. She is very personable and likable. Test scores, she cares about. Metrics, yes. Awards, indeed. Kids, I don't see it.For kids that fall outside the bell curve, this is a *terrible* school. The administration will do everything in their power to make your kid fit the mold. They actively ignore government regulations as to how individualized planning should work - key being "individualized" - and this seems to be the case on either end of the special needs spectrum, as I had experience with both.Avoid this district if your kids don't fall right dab smack in the middle of "Average" in every way.

Wyncote Elementary School gave both of my children an excellent foundation. The principal is passionate about her job, the teachers work hard and both kids made nice friends. Loved the diversity of the school and the warmth of the community. Only regret is that my kids missed the new school building that is opening in September 2015.

I am very pleased with the school so far. There are a few things that have bothered me, however, it seems that the administration is open to suggestions. My son has had a great experience so far and hope that continues.

Wyncote Elementary School has been great for our son who began in 1st grade 2 years ago. The transition from Private/Catholic school was better than we anticipated. Over the last 2 years we have experienced Dr. Clark (Principal) demonstrate great leadership and fairness in all aspects of educating and cultivating the children. The school offers innovative and unique opportunities in teaching/learning by often presenting more challenging material to students in an effort to have them excel above the state average expectation. The teachers (that our son has had thus far) are all caring, considerate and very easy to communicate with. They genuinely care about the students' success. The onsite nurse, guidance and curriculum professionals are all superior in their jobs and are extremely supportive. We feel that the school is an extension of our Family and that is a rarity in today's age.
