Aloma Elementary is an amazing public school. Mr. Vega the Principal and Mrs. Compton the Vice Principal are so engaged and really run an amazing school. Mr. Vega knows every students name and has conversation with students entering the school daily. He knows their stories and goes above and beyond. The teachers are amazing and I know my son is truly loved and cared for at this school. I participate with the PTA and they do an amazing job with the kids. This is a top notch school

Tuve muy buena experiencia con la escuela , de no haber sido por Ms Bermúdez no se como habría sido la estadía de mi hijo, excelente servicio al cliente para los padres, es lo más que extrañaré de la escuela. Bendiciones para todos!

We are originally from Russia, my son started from kindergarten and he enjoyed school so much, especially his first teacher Mrs Robin Golden, she is an amazing teacher! The first test result showed my son was below the level, as he just started learning English, but the next test after 3 months showed he was on the level, so the teacher did a great job! And I want to say I love all the staff at school, especially the principal Mr Vega, he’s very nice and always in touch with kids.

My daughter has enjoyed her time at Aloma and was recently moved into their gifted/advanced 4th grade classroom. We are military so this is her second school.

My daughter has been in this school for two years, she has learning problems. Her teachers have been very patience with her and allow her to participate in programs that help her with the problems.

We moved here in March of 2013, my daughter finished 1st grade here, and completed second, and is now in third. I'm happy to say that we've had nothing but great experiences with all her teachers, the curriculum and overall academic experience here at Aloma. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is because of the parking. There are so many parents, and so little parking, so it's getting a bit crazy on even nights. Aside from that, this is a great school!

Aloma is a wonderful school! This is my son's first year and he loves it. He's made lots of friends. The teachers are great, the principal is very involved and friendly. There are opportunities to join the garden club, music club, etc.

I went to Aloma Elementary School for first grade in 1967. The school was brand new then. For the first part of the year we were in portable classrooms in a field to the left of the school. My teacher was Mrs. Anderson. She was or had been nominated for Teacher of the Year. She got us interested in reading right from the start. I'm sure the school has changed since then, but I credit Aloma Elementary and Mrs. Anderson to getting me off to a good start. I didn't stop school until 1988 when I received my Masters degree.

MY children recently started attending Aloma. The school is currently getting a long overdue makeover and I am looking forward to next years improvement. Overall the school is above average due in large part to the principal Dr. Hawkins. The kids that attend are from a variety of ethnic groups. The teaching staff has room for improvement. Not satisfied with the science program. The gifted program is wonderful. The teacher has been there for over 7 years and is motivated. Parents at this school are not as engaged so the PTA has room for improvement. On a scale of 1-10 i would give it a 7.
