We moved into our current home because we wanted our children to attend Gower. I know my kids are getting a top-notch education. Gower is not just an excellent school district - it is a family. The community is kind and inclusive. The administration, teachers, support staff, even the custodial staff are welcoming and it's clear they are always available for the students. They do what's best for kids, bottom line. Gower has its own transportation so they can be sure the students are in good hands. My kids are greeted each day by their bus driver with a huge smile and warm hello. Gower is a place that once you get there, you don't want to leave. At least that's how my kids feel!

I can’t begin to express how grateful I am to be a part of the Gower family. I say “family” because that’s exactly how it feels, like being a part of a family! Starting from the superintendents, principals, teachers, support staff, etc, I know they have my childrens best interests! I have a child with learning differences and the support the he has received from day one has been astounding! Their motto of “children at their best” is truly honored in every way!

My son started Kindergarten here last month and we are thrilled with his experiences so far. He can be a shy child who looks for reassurance from the adults in charge. His teacher is the perfect fit. The art, music, library and PE teachers are wonderful and welcoming. The curriculum is excellent. Upon visiting for different events, I have been struck by how caring and friendly the staff is, as a whole. In fact, the Principal even knows my son's name! Class sizes are small and resources are top notch. We could not be happier with our choice to move to the Gower district.

Our district consist of elementary & the middle/jr high. It is an upscale community with lots of parent involment & 1 of the top schools in state. There is very little turnover 4 administration. My husband went to this school in elementary school &some teachers are still there & retiring. I assume that everyone gets paid well. PTO raises money that goes to purchase new computers for computer lab or buys things that the teachers have on their wish lists. Education is #1 sports #2. This community is built of doctors, lawyers etc. downfall....I would like to see them get more automated 4 hm wk & handouts. wood save lots of trees, parents could read on their time& nothing lost via email. My kids are going into 5th grade at the middle/jr high and when they attended the elementary they were on their 2nd or 3rd principal. I also like the fact that my school district owns their buses and employees the bus drivers along with the other staff memebers. My kids get on the same bus day after day and the driver knows the routine. Our school also considers the bus route so that the little ones do not cross the street or in front of the bus.

This is a fantastic school. The teachers and administrators are wonderful, the student body is diverse, motivated, and well behaved. There are excellent enrichment programs. My son looks forward to going to this school everyday.
