Trinity Lutheran School is an incredible faith-based environment that encourages students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The staff are wonderful and have done a great job encouraging parental involvement.

Drama is a part of adolescence that children (and adults) can learn from. At Trinity, faculty members teach ownership, responsibility, and forgiveness. Every child and/or parent is encouraged to bring his/her concerns to the attention of a teacher, or the administration, for resolution. Our test scores and high school results show that our teachers are extremely effective in the classroom.

I don't believe there is a better school anywhere in the Chicago area. Trinity combines small class size, great facilities, and experienced, truly caring teachers. We are there primarily for the Christian education -- and it is solid -- but even beyond that, the entire Trinity experience has been beyond any expectations. The quality of the education our children has received is something we wouldn't trade for anything. And they are happy, safe, and well cared for.In short, this is a great school.

First, the previous comment about the pastor is completely incorrect. He is one of the nicest people you will meet and is extremely knowledgeable. He is nice to everyone regardless of financial standing. You can schedule a meeting and see for yourself. Next, we have been at the school for several years. They have all the great academics, high test scores, and sports. The thing that stands out to me is that we are a family. It does not take long for new kids to be welcomed and fit in. One of the original reasons for us starting here was that my child was bullied at our public school. Basically, because of her academic abilities. My children have said that they have never seen anyone picked on for academic abilities at Trinity. There will be some drama every now and then, but the teachers really work to figure it out. I feel that the teachers and the principal genuinely care about every student. As I said, My child had trouble before. The light had gone out of her eyes. After coming to Trinity Burr Ridge, the light came back. I enrolled the rest of my children and have not had to have that feeling of sadness that comes with having an unhappy child. As for her, this school changed her life. She gained incredible self confidence and self esteem. She excelled in high school and college. Her light shines brightly now, and that is 100% thanks to Trinity.

I brought my daughter to Trinity as an 8th grader. It was a very difficult decision for me, since I knew she would only be able to attend Trinity for one year. There was a very real possibility that the shy "new kid" might be overlooked by her peers, but I took a leap of faith and enrolled her. The principal and admissions counselor seemed to genuinely care about her, and I hoped she would eventually fit in with her classmates. Still - I never dreamed that she would be this happy with her new school. Within a week, the students at Trinity made her feel completely welcome, and soon after that, she said she couldn't bear the idea of having to graduate from Trinity and say goodbye to all the kids she has met. Her teachers have been fantastic, and she has grown in so many ways. My only regret is that I didn't bring her to Trinity sooner. The year has truly changed her life.

Trinity Lutheran touts its very small class sizes as a positive. The truth is people in the area avoid the school partly because of its leadership. The pastor of the church is quite judgmental, harsh at times and unempathetic. He was kind to us when we were putting money in the donation box. Period.

The strong Math program and small class sizes led us to Trinity. Once here, we were impressed that the older boys had fantastic manners! Turns out, all of the students are very well behaved and kind, especially to the younger ones. Both my son and daughter are receiving the highest quality education (many schools in the area teach to test - not sure how that helps in the real world) while also being taught how to be responsible, resilient and respectful.

Love the Christian environment, the small size, the beautiful campus setting, and the family atmosphere.

We moved our children from the local public schools to Trinity 2 years ago. We moved our 8th grade daughter there after she was having some issues at her public middle school. While on the tour, my husband and I looked at each other and said this would be perfect for our then 3rd grader too! The difference between public and Trinity is staggering (in a good way). The warmth of the principal and teachers and other parents is evident. There is a positive energy that you feel just walking up to the front door. The quality of the teachers is excellent. The education my kids are getting is so solid, basics reinforced to cement the lifelong learning they will need. All under an umbrella of Christian love that permeates everything they do. I highly recommend this school!

A very good school, blending the "Old" School practices with the "New" School technology required to keep the kids sharp and ready for the real world.

I cannot say enough about how much our children as well as my husband & I love Trinity. I will highlight a few of the reasons why our kids attend Trinity. A low student to teacher ratio. Typically, Trinity has a student-faculty ratio in a range of 12:1. This is the genius! This is what you want when you send your child to private school: the personal attention to his or her learning needs. They will not "slip" under the radar if they are falling behind or even if they are excelling, they will be challenged to fit their needs. As a result of small classes, teachers are able to dig deeply into the material & cover much more than you would find at many other schools. Your child will build a network of friends which she will have for life. The kids & families at Trinity WANT to be there. They choose to go to this school & the pride is abundant. Having the ability to send our kids to a school that is so close knit & has such loving & caring teachers, staff & families has truly been a blessing. Small is indeed good! Again, I could write a novel about our love for this school but I would say come check it out for yourself!

Perfect class sizes (20 or less), Christian education and environment. Love the math program (Saxon Math) and the higher level of academic expectations than the public school, we transferred to Trinity after our public school became overcrowded with a very disruptive learning environment. My daughter who graduated Trinity and is now in High School is enrolled in all honors classes and has a straight A average. Also Trinity has Spanish, Art and Music as part of their daily studies and offers sports and other extracurricular opportunities.

Great school!!! I looked for a place close to where I work and couldn't be happier. They offer sports, online learning and access to online grades. They teach the children not only books and curriculum but self confidence and a Christian balance. Teachers are easily accessible at all times! Preschool thru 8th grade.

My children have been going to Trinity for 6 years and I am very grateful for the Christian guidance, the small class room sizes, the closeness the kids feel to their classmates, the opportunity to be in advanced math classes, and athletic opportunities. Teachers and principal are very caring. Extended care is great for working parents. Very happy with our decision and know our children will be well prepared for high school.

Our son started Kindergarten at Trinity in August 2012 and he has "matured" so much since he started. He ASKS me to read with him, he wants to work on his numbers, and he talks of his love for Jesus. The teachers, principal and the staff truly care about the students. We are so fortunate to be a part of the Trinity family. Trinity is a great school!!

Attended the weekly chapel service at Trinity today with many other parents. It was so nice to see the friendship and respect that the children in all grades share with one another. The first and second graders led the service today and did a great job! What a great place to learn, make friends, and learn about the Christian faith!

It is easy to go on and on about the great things at Trinity, but I think it can be summed up in a few key areas: loving, Christian environment, small class sizes, strong academics, music, art and athletics.

We just filled out the paperwork for our son to attend preschool at Trinity Lutheran School. We couldn't be happier with our decision. After meeting the preschool teacher and learning about the loving, Christian curriculum, we knew that this was the right place for our children. We researched many other programs, but found that Trinity's program offered everything that we were looking for: letters, numbers, art, music, Bible lessons and more. The Extended Care option will also be very helpful because he will remain in the same building with other students from Trinity.

One of the best things about Trinity Lutheran School is that every child has a chance to learn and gain a well-rounded education. The school provides music classes during the school day, and students also have the opportunity to take private piano, guitar, or strings lessons during the school day. A professional art instructor offers art classes each week, and two Spanish teachers teach Spanish lessons to grades 1 through 8. The academic program is strong, but the added benefit of art, music, religion, and foreign language make Trinity the best!

I just enrolled my son for the 2011/2012 school year last Sunday. I love the fact that music lessons are available for students at the school. Very convenient. The staff is terrific. I was able to tour the school and enroll my son over the weekend since I was out of town and only able to fly in over the weekend. Thank you!!! Lastly, I love the fact that it is Christian based and the curriculum definitely compliments the terrific education my son received in kindergarten at another school. And one more thing, the teachers meet in advance of the school year with the parents (at home or at school) of children enrolled in their class for the coming year. Fantastic.
