All my three kids went through this school and followed by the middle and high school. They all did very well and speaks highly about the school system. I have been here since 2000 and all my kids are college graduate and one of my daughter has become a doctor. I highly recommend these schools.

Anne M. Jeans Elementary School in CCSD180 has been my home away from home for 32 years. I started my teaching career at Anne M. Jeans in a second grade classroom. As I have moved into different roles throughout the years, each one has given me more joy. I hold a master s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Lewis University and another masters in Administration from Governor s State University. My experiences and opportunities at CCSD 180 have been fulfilling and rewarding. I am lucky to be one of those people that wake up every day and love going to my job. Yes, the district has changed throughout the years. However, the focus continues to be educating the students and high expectations. The Board and Superintendent support professional development and provide the resources needed to provide academic and social emotional success. I am now principal at Anne M. Jeans and am excited about all of the wonderful programs and opportunities available to our students and our community. Please come by and visit us to see Anne M. Jeans students in action. I am proud of our students and the staff.

I was a bit nervous about sending my child to this school based on rumors in the community. I toured the school, met with teachers and principals and liked what I saw and decided to give it a try. I am glad I did. My daughter loves it and is doing well. The school is really making a turn around and if more people would put there unpleasant views aside and actually use their community school there would be more of a mix of children. I have not seen anything to hold true to the rumors and I am so glad I followed my own instinct and gave the school, teachers and staff a chance because they are really great. They run a tight ship and the kids are very well behaved and well mannered. They have great academics and will put your child in the level of classes that they need to be. Classes are tailored to your child's needs based on assessment tests they do many times throughout the year. I only wish more people in the neighborhood would allow their children to attend this school.
