Awful, terrible school. The teachers don’t care, the administration is even worse. All they care about is their image, which is tainted already. Kids gets bullied, nothing gets done. One of the worst, if not, THE worst school I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

My kids enjoyed playing sports for the High School and my son was captain of the Basketball team. The coaches were great but all in all he failed when he got to college as Upper Moreland passed him through the system but did not prepare him for College. I kid you not my son did not have homework his Junior or Senior year as he afternoons and nights were spent at Football, Basketball or weightlifting.

Admin is only out for money. They don’t care about female students getting harassed by male students. They only care about the keystones and not what the students are good at. My opinion the rating should be a 5 not an 8.

If someone hits you first and you respond in kind, the school calls the cops. It is almost like kids cannot be kids or the schools fist option is trying to get them a criminal record. Upper Dublin High School is way better. They are a blue ribbon school with lots of money. They handle most of the own problems...instead of calling the cops.#teamSTOPsnitching

UMHS is a great school. My son graduated in 2014 and went on to college. I have a daughter who is a Freshman. It's really is a small community when you look at the number of students. There are four grades at the highschool, 9th-12th and only 1000 kids total. There are many opportunities for sports, theater, etc. UMHS offers college courses in the Junior and Senior years and lots of AP courses. Many of the teachers are highly education and helpful. The chances of making any of the sports teams are high because of the size of school. You're child has a chance to really excel if they want it. The kids are good kids. Couple bad apples, of course, but truly not a lot of drama here. The parents are involved and everyone either knows you or knows of you. I'd highly recommend moving to Upper Moreland if you don't live here already!

As a parent of current students, I find the school to be great! The teachers are engaged and dedicated to the education of the students. The current superintendent and board of directors are dedicated to constantly evaluating and working toward the improvement of the academic curriculum. Extracurricular activities are diverse and, because the school is of moderate size, the opportunities for a student to participate in these activities is outstanding. There are never 80 kids vying for 18 spots on the team! There is truly something for every student who wants to be involved. The music program starts in elementary school and engages and inspires students early. Several bands, orchestras and choral opportunities to choose from, an outstanding program! Multiple art classes offered. Recent improvements to the building including air conditioning, new science and music/arts wing. Updated, spacious facilities. Most importantly this is a great community where people know each other. Family involvement is welcomed in the school community. Parents can get to know their kids teachers, coaches and mentors and communication is encouraged. Many parents are alumni!
