    This place is awful. Now we have to worry about antisemitism on top of all the fights that have happened this year. Where is the accountability and discipline? This is not how a school should run.

    I am a student at this school, and have been from 2015. This school is moderate on my scale. It is not very challenging, which is not good at all. The students here do not try hard, hence such bad MCAS scores are gotten. The teachers are not bad workers, but they do not hand out much homework, therefore aiding in the case of so many students not learning. There are a few very good extra courses, like Applied Science And Engineering and Spanish. The 2015-2017 STEM classes were worthwhile, but this year's course is a joke. Bullying is not very commonplace here, but sometimes someone does get bullied. It's rare, but basically, the teachers laugh it off. the Principal and most of the staff (especially the Common Core class teachers, like Math/Algebra and Science) is good enough to teach us the whole curriculum. But they usually never go above and beyond.

    Ok! Seriously!! Why are all my comments being deleted on this?? I am just speaking the truth!! People need to hear the truth about this school!! This is my third time writing on this!! From now on I won't be able to trust the reviews on this site if the bad reviews are always being deleted!! Does someone that works for South Middle school in charge of this website?? Is that why my bad reviews keep getting deleted??

    communication is lame, smarter kids are not challenged enough and get bored. Bullying policy not enforced and communication and action are pretty much non existant
