Do not send your disabled or neurodivergent child to this school.

I think my prior review was removed. I don’t think it violated guidelines, I guess this site doesn’t want the perspective of an actually disabled person with experiences of this school. So I’m not going to say much and one star everything.

As a former student of this school, I loved it. The staff and teachers were always nice, if a student needed help or didn't understand the teachers would take them aside and do a one on one lesson, discipline was enforced when needed, and bullying was almost always caught right away. The principal would check in on our classes every so often and sometimes even come in to teach us a lesson, which was usually math. There would be events like the Halloween dance, a movie night, arithmetricks and treats, puzzle nights (one year it was a mystery, another was cowboy-themed, a safari (I still have the hat) and I think there was a Hawaiian themed one too.) About once a year (I think) we had a book fair, close to the end of the year there was a field day, and an end of the year party with bouncy castles, fake tattoos, a dunk-tank, and I believe we had a rock wall one year. Of course, I'm sure many things would change within the last five to six years that I've no longer been a student there, especially with a new principal and new teachers coming in to replace those who are retiring or switching schools. That school was a great part of my childhood and sometimes I go back to the school grounds with my niece and point out each classroom and what teachers used to (or maybe still does) occupy it.

Heard from teachers at this school - "I would send my kids there." Best elementary school in the district.

This school is fantastic- way more than I would have expected. The principal is so warm and goes absolutely above and beyond planning activities for the kids. There are Arthmatricks and treats at Halloween, math rodeos, science learning nights structured around Sherlock Holmes-type mysteries, family luncheons, egg magic math days in the spring. It is amazing. The teachers are also very caring and experienced, and do whatever they can to make your child happy about learning and themselves. The school is small and there is a lot if personal attention and creativity.
