    Bullying seems to be a prevalent issue at Abner Gibbs not just from my personal experience but after talking to other parents who children attend his school, from verbal to physical abuse not just from students but from the staff, my child was called a lier by staff when he reported being harassed and they refused to tell me anything that was happening. very disappointing

    go to schooldigger.com and you will be able to see the how abner compares to other schools in the state, facts are facts and abner gibbs rates as one of the worst schools in the state, that stands as a fact no matter the other reviews of how they love this school, chances are they are a teacher trying to put the school in a positive light

    As a parent that has worked within the school district and others in the area I find Abner Gibbs to be one of the best kept secrets in town! The staff and faculty are among the best in the area. The principal possesses strong leadership skills as well as compassion and understanding for each student and family she works with. It is a small neighborhood school that fosters community understanding and respect.
