My daughter is special needs. Some of her teachers don't follow her IEP. Some of the teachers make my daughter feel awful to the point she feels stupid. If you have a child that is special needs Avoid THIS SCHOOL DISTRICT. This is not a good district for special needs. They will not provide adequate services for your child. My daughter has to go to counseling because teachers put her down. BEWARE!!!

I was a student at Schuyler-Colfax as a kid and now, I am one of the art teachers. Schuyler students are bright, driven, and deserving of the best education they can get. The student body, as well as the faculty, are a family. We support one another and band together to help those in need. Last year, our school raised over $5,000 for the relief fund in Haiti by selling student-designed heart pins and raising money at lunch. They donate to Pennies for Patients, Toys for Tots, and The Valerie Fund, as well as countless other organizations. Schuyler-Colfax Middle School is a school filled with a fantastic group of people who deserve the best education in the world with the best resources possible.

my family and i just moved to wayne recently, and we absolutely love it here! we've always heard great things about the schools in wayne and now we're finding out firsthand just how awesome they are. if schuyler colfax could win $20,000, it would be even more amazing! the money would benefit the students and provide them with wonderful opportunities to enhance their learning. wishing them all the best! :)

There is a great dedication from the entire staff in helping us parents to raise our children to become wonderful adults. AND when your child gets up and wants to go to school... Well that speaks for itself.. Great job Schuyler!!

The teachers make the school enjoyably the office helps to make everything run smooth the custodians keep our school immaculate and all that good stuff rubs off on the kids and makes it a Great Place To Learn!!!!
