We have had such a wonderful experience at St. Pats! Our kids receive a very well-rounded experience that offers an excellent and faith-filled education. The small class sizes are a bonus! Additionally, St. Pats has great extracurricular options which offers access to all who are interested. They have been ranked at the State level in many different areas, as well! St. Pat’s truly feels like home and the community is our family. I cannot imagine my children going anywhere else!

I cannot say enough positive things about St. Pats! As a parent, my son attended from K-8. He grew into a well-rounded, faithful, and smart young man while attending St. Patrick School. His teachers expected the best from him and helped him reach his full potential before moving on to high school where he continues to excel while keeping his strong faith which was instilled in him through his experience at St. Pats. As a teacher, I loved my co-workers, students, parents, and community. I have such a strong connection to this wonderful school, that I am now the principal. Being in a leadership role at the school has allowed me to see so much more about its wonders. The teachers are inspirational and truly care about their students and our school, the students are academically and spiritually filled, the parents and families are involved, and the parish community is strong and supportive of our mission. Along with this, our coaching staff works hard to help our athletes rise to success. This school is so much more than just academics (top 25%)! If you're looking for a school to call family, we are what you've been waiting for.

Amazing school. My children had struggled at previous schools, but this place has made all the difference. The teachers, priests, and administration have honestly changed our lives. There is weekly adoration, monthly confessions, and friendly people around every corner.

Safe haven for bullies. After numerous meetings throughout months of bullying, it was obvious the administration isn't serious about a safe learning environment. Teacher and Principal recommended my child get counseling to avoid having a personality that caused him to be bullied. I'm doubtful they are following the Diocesan policies against bullying. Avoid this school.

As a public school teacher, I have all my children to St. Pats. Simply for the discipline and academics they receive there. I would like to congratulate the administration, faculty and students for being honored with the Blue Ribbon School award, given by the Department of Education! This is a wonderful honor for a school community that has worked hard to balance education, extra-curricular activities and addressing the problems that plague every school. I could not be prouder of my children and the school I have chosen to send them to! Perhaps those who choose to come on here and attack anonymously could have been part of this celebration instead of trying to undermine it!

Congratulations to the students, teachers, and administration. St. Pat's was just announced a recipient of the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award for Excellence in Education. St. Pat's is one of only 50 private schools in the nation to win this award! This is truly one of the finest educational institutions in the nation!

I take offense what this last post stated about bullies. How untrue. This school has done more than any I have seen in regard to addressing bullying. The administration brought in a professional to work with the parents and then the students of a particular class who had been having some issues with one another. In addition, a parent who is a national certified counselor comes into the classes once per month to discuss respect and kindness with the children in light of Gospel values. The teachers and staff are starting the new school year out with peer mistreatment workshops. And I find interesting that one of the parents wrote about our administrator who received a national award for leadership- one of only 10 in the country! Everyone knows who this disgruntled parent is and he just won't stop harassing our administration and teachers. How sad.

St. Patrick's school is one of the top schools, private or public, in the area. Graduates of St. Patrick's are routinely in the top 10% of their class in high school. The faculty and staff go above and beyond their duties to help form well-rounded individuals. There is nice balance of academics and extra-curricular activities that help keep students active and engaged in the learning process. The only regret that we have is that are children can not attend the school any longer! We always found the administration, faculty and staff, very receptive and open to meet with and discuss any problems. We would highly recommend the school to anyone thinking of a change or moving into the area.

St. Patrick School is a wonderful school. My children attend St. Pat's, and I can't say enough about the love and friendship they have found there. The school has pre-K through 8th grades. The teachers and staff, along with the student body create an atmosphere of family and camaraderie. The school is currently up for the Blue Ribbon award, and St. Pat's was the highest scoring school in the Peoria Diocese on the latest achievement tests! Our children love all of the activities and events that the school offers as well. Our first year in the school, St. Pat's received a sportsmanship award from the Illinois Elementary School Association. The award is voted on by other area schools. The school is also involved in many quality volunteer activities. Our three children spent two days in December packing over 5,000 baskets of food for needy families in the area. I am so glad the school offers opportunities for the children to give back to those in need. My kids were amazed at how great they felt by helping others! I can't begin to tell you how lucky we are to have a school like St. Pat's for our children to grow and learn in! Keep up the great work!

I was alerted about some of the postings on here and felt obligated to check it out. I am a graduate of the school and have children of my own that now attend. As a graduate, I have always felt pride for being a part of the St. Pat's Irish! I credit much of my success in life to the education and values I was taught while attending St. Patrick's! When the time came to choose a school for my own children, I didn't hesitate to choose St. Pat's. Some of the staff and faculty have changed but the values and life lessons I received, are still being taught there. The education my children are receiving is second to none. The school scored the highest in the Diocese this year. Obviously they are doing something right there!

We are very happy with St. Pat's. The administration has vision and is outstanding in faith commitment. The quality of education is the best in the area. The pastor is present and truly supports Catholic education. The teachers are very knowledgeable and totally committed. The parents are very involved and are great ambassadors for the school and its mission. We hope our grandchildren attend one day!

St. Patrick School is the top school to choose in Washington. Not only do they focus on excellence in academics, which any of the programs could top the other public schools, but they also focus on Faith Formation which is the highest priority in our family. We are extremely satisfied knowing that our children are getting top notch instruction but also growing and expanding in their faith!

Our children have attended both public and private schools. St Patrick s is the bottom of any list. We left this school and now attend another local Catholic School. The concerns with this school start with the Administrator s lack of honesty and professionalism. The problems continue throughout the school. The majority of the concerns have focused around the Jr. High setting. PLEASE notice the two teachers comments regarding their accreditation. These awards and accreditations are meaningless unless the teachers do their job. It has become well known that the Principal stood with a teacher that waited almost 7 weeks before giving a grade. Having now experienced another Catholic School, we realize how lacking the faith formation at St Pat s has been. We have spoken with another family who strongly shares this opinion. While St. Pat s has proven to be disappointing in many areas, there are many Catholic schools in the Diocese of Peoria that are strong both in their academics and faith formation.

We love St. Patrick's school because the children are educated academically, spitually, and with the morals and priorities that we are instilling as parents. The teachers are great and solid role models for the children. We definitely recommend St. Pat's.

St. Patrick School is one of the best parochial schools in the area! The school profile and North Central Accreditation Site Team report on their website verify excellence in academics and in faith formation! Highly recommended as a Catholic school choice for families.
