The teachers and all the school faculty are wonderful. My son has some learning disabilities and they work with him daily with a variety of services. Truly amazing the difference this past year has made in him. I just want to thank everyone who works hard to improve our children's lives on a daily basis. Don't let the lower school rating fool you this school is a gem and the teachers are all wonderful. The school may be older than others and need some polish but what really matters is the quality of teachers and they have a wonderful bunch.

It is with some sadness that I realize our youngest (last) child will soon move on from LGS. Mrs. Durham and her staff and faculty have, in my view, created a relaxed, caring environment while still keeping the kids on-task and motivated. We have never regretted our move to Washington in 2007, thanks in large part to the excellent schools. I know our kids have benefited greatly from it.

This is a school full of teachers and staff that care about our kids. My children have had some very good teachers and some excellent ones. Parents are provided many opportunities to volunteer at the school and in the classroom, and are encouraged to be involved in their child's school life. The only thing this school is missing is a plan for kids who would be in a 'gifted' program in districts that have that. However, we had a lot of success talking to individual teachers about how our child's schoolwork might be slightly modified to keep him engaged. This school rates a solid 'A' from our family!
