This school and it’s staff are excellent. They truly care about the children and their learning.

The entire time my child has attended WES she has gotten nothing but THE BEST. I can't say enough good things about this school. The teachers, front office staff, other faculty really care about the kids and they work their butts off to be the best at what they do. I love the individual attention Hazel gets and the principal is so warm and welcoming! I can't wait for my toddler to follow in her sisters footsteps and attend WES when she gets old enough!

I give the school overall high rankings. The teachers that my kids had were terrific in my opinion. The only problem that I had was with the principle there. I believe that for Special Education to be his area of study, that he was very detached and insensitive in regard to that particular area of his school. So much so, that my oldest son got his arm broken on the playground which was not made wheelchair accessible until AFTER his accident! All this to say that if you're not used to following closely, your special needs child's surroundings you better start if you're sending them to Walkertown Elementary.

I have enjoyed my son attending Walkertown since Kindergarten. I teach at another school and wanted him to come to school with me. However, since this is his home school (according to where we live) I allowed him to attend Walkertown. He has enjoyed it and what GREAT teachers are at the school to vare for children!!
