The Walton is the best elementary school in Wakefield. The school was instrumental in helping both of my daughters with their communication and reading disabilities. By ninth grade my girls were able to go on to take advanced placement courses in private school. I don’t know who has been writing these reviews?

This is a small school with little resources. If you are in need of any type of academic support good luck in this school. There solution is to move your child to a different school, even if it's smack dab in the middle of the school year. The PTO is constantly asking for money. We can hardly get thorugh a month without a half day or two. There are no busses. At the end of the day the doors fly open and the kids run out to waiting parents or no waiting parents. On more than one occasion I've seen kids run out to no one and no one knew it. The town is going down hill in a big way.

Walton is a wonderful small neighborhood school. We were new to the area this year and the faculty and staff have been very friendly and they welcome parent involvement.

I don't believe any of the parents like the Principal. The teachers are good for the most part, except for a couple I won't mention. Parents are friendly with the people they know. If you are new to the school hardly any one will talk to you. Good school for people that were born and raised in Wakefield.
