It has been a wonderful school for my son with special needs. His accommodations have been met and the teachers have far exceeded my expectations. And the curriculum is top notch. Not including all the activities the school does to bring the community together.

It's my daughter's kindergarten year, first experience of school. Didn't know where her class was at first and staff would refuse to help her to class as I would wait in the office multiple times at least 10 minute til someone would finally take her which one time I waited in the office (to ask about my daughters lunchbag) the lady walked out the door with my child and literally 30 seconds later walked back in (my daughter's class is on the opposite side from the office). My daughter finally learned how to get to class and I would watch her by the gate which I witnessed I teacher physically dragging her to class because my daughter wasn't walking fast enough for the teacher. I reported it to the vice principal which nobody ever got back to me about the incident. The main office lady would hang up on me multiple times when I called trying to talk to someone about my concerns. My daughter was getting bullied by a couple little boys which my daughter told me the teacher was aware . When I tried discussing it with the teacher she began yelling and berating me in front of students and parents saying she didn't know about it and got even more upset when I asked what can we do about it know that you know ( the bullying of my daughter did not stop) I immediately went to report the incident right then and there ( nothing was done about it) . My daughter mentioned that she wasn't allowed to use the restroom and I didn't believe her til I picked her up one day and she was peed on herself (no one called for me to bring clothes) they let her sit in her pee. I even tried reporting it to the actual principal and was told to take it up with the district. I tried switching my daughter class but I was told no as well as my daughter and I were liars.

Very happy with this school. My daughter loves this school. She use to hate school until she attended Hurley. Great staff and Principal! There is so much school spirit and involvement with parents that I have never seen at any other school!

Love this school. So kid-friendly. The administration listens to the children and helps them solve any issues that arise with attending school. The administration also knows the children by name and makes them feel so happy. It is a wonderful school.

My son has gone to this school for the past two years. It is an excellent school. Great facilities, teachers, and administration. Don't have a bad thing to say about. And the test scores back it up.

Hurley is a good school and there good with academics. But I think they tend to be a little judgmental... I'm not to happy with the new principle, I think teachers and principle need to be a little more understanding in some situations.. These are children.. There not always going to be perfect.. Every child grows differently..

Our daughter who has special medical needs attends kindergarten at Hurley and we are so impressed with the professionalism the school staff has shown us. The principal, her teacher and the school's nurses should all be commended on their open communication style and level of organization. They display empathy and caring for my daughter, unlike the cold, discriminatory reception we encountered at the private preschools. Our daughter loves going to school every day because she feels safe and secure AND she is learning more in one month there than she did during two years of private preschool.

My daughter went here one year and was judged base on family background and not her knowledge. Very high scoring child but came home upset daily. Very bright and social child but when she went there she was different. She will not be returning , hopefully they don't make a habit of treating children like this . They are going to learn not to be judged.
