After trying to address issues in the classroom and outside of the classroom and the way that your child is being treated over and over again and then you finally take matters into your own hands because the administration won't, they will turn against you and they will ban you and they will put the bullies and their parents on a pedestal ! They paint you to be the bad guy when you were begging for help and you got nothing! No one addresses your sadness until it turns to anger and you finally snap. I gave several warnings and got zero support. My child has special needs and I have done everything right and I needed someone to back me up and I had no one and everyone turned against me because I stood up for my child. If you want your child to be protected I suggest you don't choose this school or this administration!

I've had kids attend this school for the past 8 years. At one point having 4 kids enrolled here at once. I absolutely love the teachers. They are so motivated for the students. They have an amazing reading program, and so many rewarding activities to encourage the students to accel in academics. The learning center offers a great resource to students with IEPs. The 6th grade team is absolutely AMAZING. They do SO MANY hands on activitiesto cultivate learning in the class. Mrs. Irvine is a favorite in our home. The office staff is welcoming, and Mrs. Kruger is another house favorite wearing 2 hats as the arts instructor as well. They are just such a well versed school with so many opportunities offered to the students. The only downfall I have seen is they struggle to keep a long term principal. They've had a couple awful ones, a really good one, and mediocre one while we have been here. The newest principal that started this year... I am on the fence about. He seems nice-but also seems like a serious micro-manager. The teachers here have continued to flourish, even without this consistency which says A LOT about the teachers here. Once here, they stay long term!

Linwood is a wonderful school. The Principal, teachers, and admin staff are dedicated to creating a positive, safe learning environment for all students. The basics are well covered along with a healthy push toward STEM. Accelerated Reader is stressed, supported and well rewarded. The PTA is very involved and is supported in a big way by the Principal and her leadership team. One of my children attended K-6 at Linwood and I have two more currently enrolled. We chose our home in a location within the Linwood boundaries so that our kids could attend Linwood. This was a great choice!

I am so glad that I live in such Ana amazing school district! My oldest has grown so much and the staff has really stepped up to help with his anxiety and being bullied. My youngest can’t wait to start next year!

My girls have been at Linwood for an entire year and I have to say that I am very impressed with the teachers, administrative staff, the PTA, and the AR program. My girls love this school, and so do I!

BAD first experience with school staff when we went to enroll. After we moved into Linwood District, they told us couldn't accept our kids as school is full. Lesson learned is dont expect to go to the school you want in Visalia even if you live in that school's specific district. Very Rude and unhelpful office staff who flat out didnt care.

Linwood provides a great education for children. The PTA is very supportive with helping to provide additional programs in the school. The principal is knowledgable about students and provides leadership to improve academics. Staff is friendly and are there to teach and improve scores. Many programs art, Ar, IXL, Music, PE, Odessey of the Minds, Battle of the books, afterschool library hours, Reading Tutors, Garden Club, and etc..the list goes on..We couldn't of choosen a better school.
