Change is neccessary, but not in the sense of updated websites, extra-curriculars, and merch. I know countless people who have been disregarded of serious issues due to the school ruling it off as false, or simply not doing anything about the report. Students are getting bullied, harrassed, sexually assaulted, and Divisadero decides to focus on anything other than students general wellbeing. Being scared to show up to school in fear of being ridiculed or in fear of your own safety is awful. The school constantly speaks of uplifting students; but in times of need, that statement is forgotten. Teachers hold no regard for students learning, and it's obvious in most of their course-work and grades. On the rare occassion of a seemingly decent teacher, if you had experience with a good teacher, you'd see it's the bare minmium. Stress is constantly surrounding this school, no matter how much it's masked.

To arrive at school immediately worried about my safety and whether or not somebody close to me will get hurt is awful. Divisadero puts so much stress on kids and parents, and yet refuses to listen when someone speaks up. When you don't feel safe at school, or around teachers and adults, what more do you have? Not to mention the level of disregard teachers have for their students; it's clear in peer conversations that grading and teaching is messed up here. The school cares more for homework and students personal priorities than the wellbeing and thoughts of individuals. I know countless people who have been bullied, jumped, harassed, sexually assaulted, and much more, just for the school to pass it off as the cause of phones or the fault of the person reporting. Change is neccessary, but not in the sense of updated websites and extra-curriculars.

This school is the most racist I have been they barely do any thing about the student and that they should at least believe each side of a story and that they should put cameras in each classroom that would see any thing that would happened also they really need to stop swearing in that school at my old school the only swear word they known was stupid and that is barely one

Worst school bullying is huge problem staff does nothing repeatedly number of parents complaining about bullying is outrageous two students took their life the same year one student at divis other due to bully who was student at divis watched mine be hospitalized for attempting suicide because of bullying and school not doing anything told we didn't have enough proof school failed to report a written testimony of my child stating self mutilation and wants to end life statement went ignored
