My children were transfer students and from my personal experience, it wasn't pleasant as a parent or for my children. The principal was very rude to me, refused to help, was very cold and unfeeling-My daughters first grade teacher yelled at the students regularly and even swore at the class. And my son who was in kindergarten was being bullied by older kids on the bus and came home with bleeding scratch marks on his face and when I told the teacher about it, she told me that my son was a liar and that those kids would never do that without cause. So the kids didn't get in trouble, but my son did...was it because he was new? Was it because the teacher was bias because she'd had those students in her class before? Or was it because my kid is hispanic? Who knows. But it was a terrible school, and I transferred them to another school for the following year.

Great choice, great teachers and classmates, kids will remember this wonderful experience. We are very happy that our daughters enjoy going to school and how well they are doing. The teachers are very professional and the teaching technique is clear and well structured. Communication with parents is constant. I just wanted to thank you for providing an amazing education for our children. I just wish there was a middle school in the same place so they would continue on the same campus.Great experience!

I have enjoyed the past several years at the school as a parent. I was so sad to see it have such a low rating. With all things there is good and bad. The teachers try their hardest but I know more parent involvement and volunteering would help. We need to support the people who we trust with our children's education any way we can. The new principal has been there two years now I believe and he works extremely hard to make this school the best. He takes pride in his work and it shows.

They have extreme difficulty when applying a child’s IEP. The principal does NOT have the kids best interest in mind.

Our kids attended school here for a year and we were not impressed. When our child needed extra help the school could not and would not help so we transferred to a school with more to offer. Another child had a good teacher and he had a good experience although that teacher no longer teaches there.

Absolutely the worst school I have ever seen. The complete lack of leadership and accountability is very alarming. Parent volunteering is non-existent. There is no advanced teaching to kids who are above class. The curriculum that is taught is way below grade level. Kids are out of control throwing themselves on the cafeteria floor, jumping on each other all while in the view of the teachers. It to me is more like a reform school than a public school. Bullying is out of control and the teachers don't want to get involved. I would NEVER recommend this school to anyone who actually wants their child to succeed. It is very sad that a school like this is still open in today s age. There is no desire for the teachers to better nor do they want to. If I could give this school no stars it would better fit them.

This school has a C rating and is on a plan of improvement. That alone should be enough to deter anyone from putting their child in this school
