    I love the online environment at this school. It is the perfect mix of teacher-led instruction and home-learning (especially helpful if your student has anxiety, learning complications, or just struggles in the overcrowded public schools). The teachers at this school are fantastic! The smaller class sizes and online schedule means that teachers have more time to work with students one-on-one. After being left behind in public school (post-pandemic learning loss) my student has been catching up and reaching new benchmarks every quarter at Lumen. The blend of online learning and in-person fun activities have let my student make new friends, while being able to learn in a calmer environment.

    I have worked closely with some of the leaders at Lumen Scholar Institute and their focus on the student experience and academia has been exceptional. This school is constantly evolving to adapt to our current environment and they are always making adjustments based on what will help the students first. I believe Lumen Scholar Institute is the perfect charter school for any student and/or family. I have nothing but positive things to say about my time working with Lumen Scholar Institute.
