My child attended preschool for one week in this school and I was told this is not the school for my child as he’s academically behind? Um isn’t that what preschool is all about to get them ready and “prep” for being in school? Also, my child only attended the first week of school and they told me 4 days into the school year…. In my opinion this teacher should not be teaching if they cannot present a program for little ones and are willing to work with them… Since than my child is in a different school much happier and doing great academically and the teachers rave at how advanced he is for his age…. I’m just puzzled at how a Christian school does not have very “Christian” behavior… The staff and Principal are not what I expected from a Christian perspective

We were attending a basketball game at this school earlier this year. We were stunned at the coach and the parents YELLING and screaming at the ref....really? Way to show Christian love and set an example to young boys. I wanted to throw up. It was disgusting and all I could think was thank GOD we didn't choose this "Christian" school.

It was our worst experience to send our child to this school. The principal is a person who's Christianity is in his words only not in his heart and not in his actions. So sad...

We have had a wonderful experience in sending our two children to this school for the last 9 years. They are both very happy here. This school is the whole package from academics to character building to sports! It is a small school and everyone knows everyone. The parents are kind and kids are amazing. We have felt that the academic rigor is sufficient, and the Christian environment is real. My kids will always remember their time at Venice Christian School as a positive experience that prepared them for living a life for the Lord.

My Grandson went to Venice Christian School and had an uncaring, rude, disrespectful teacher that should have left years ago. So harsh and didn't care about him as a human being...terrible for self-esteem. Terrible to deal with from a parents and grandparents standpoint. It's necessary to mention that my grandson has the mildest, most easy going personality and is gifted academically, so it was not that he was a difficult child to deal with -- quite the opposite. Academically no complaint about VCS...I would rate it high.Since then he has gone to Taylor Ranch, the difference was like night and day...incredible, caring teachers for the past three years. Can't say enough about how wonderful and warm they are. In addition, they have been great about keeping contact with my daughter to keep her in the loop. Academically he is doing great and loves school!

My child has been at VCS for 8 years now. I am very happy and pleased with the school and staff. Great atmosphere for the children and family's. I am planning on keeping my child there through 12th grade.

The curriculum at this school is excellent, but many of the staff members are not very friendly and sometimes very rude. When you walk into the office they seem annoyed to have to help you. We were very disappointed with the a majority of the staff, including a teacher or two. We changed our children to a different school his year and are extremely happy with our decision. In my opinion, the environment at VCS is not a nurturing one. The adults (parents and teachers) seemed to be very competitive and gossipy. This was not the Christian atmosphere I was looking for.

We have two students that are just finishing up the schoolyear, and are definitely going back next year along with our third child beginning preschool there. I would HIGHLY recommend this school to anyone. The teachers and staff are wonderful people that clearly love what they do! My kids are begging to go back next year! We're lifers!

This school is terrible. Its a very very small school, the whole 6th grade is only 14 students and its very hard to make friends. Theres 5 girls in the 6th grade and the rest are boys. I find it completely awful. The teacher are very very rude and don't know how to teach a student or treat one properly. Awful. Can't wait to leave.

I have 3 children presently enrolled at VCS and I find that the teachers really care about my children. They give individualized attention as nessesary and really love on my kids. I feel that the education is strong and plan on keeping my children there all the way through high school (since now they go all the way through 12 th grade.

This is truly a school that strives to teach the whole child. An emphasis on strong academics, love of God, and respect for others has enriched my son's school experience. We have been very happy since coming to Venice Christian School. A kind, caring atmosphere helps even the most shy child develop and blossom into a well rounded and confident student. In addition to the academics, drama, music, art, computer, foreign language, physical education and extra curricular social and sports activities are available. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

My son has attended Pre k 3 and pre k 4 here and I could not be happier. He was very shy and this school has helped him in so many ways! The staff go above and beyond for the students and I have peace of mind knowing my son is in such great hands! I like the small feel of it and the private christian education is so important for the children! I love VCS!!!!!!!
